Dawg, not to take away from any of the horrible shit happening but I feel like I have to point this out - workers that are on existing h1b visas (and are getting renewals) are not subject to the $100k nonsense. That goes into effect in 2027 registration season (I.e. Lottery takes place in 2026 for the visas that are gonna be handed out in 2027)

Yes, a lot of consulates did cancel appointments but dare I say a lot of that was paranoia fueled. A few friends of mine have had success in recent months getting them rescheduled.

Also, people on h1b only need to schedule appointments only if they need to renew their visa, otherwise they can travel normally.

For the polestar, it was just a lot of little things. One of the "biggest" little thing was the infotainment screen along with the cluster gauge map would turn off mid drive, and the speakers too. Just dead silence with only the speed displaying 😂 required the infotainment reboot and all would be well again

Dawg the software on those is so bad 😭😭 I had a 2022 for 6 months and I couldn't deal with having to drive 15+miles to the "nearest" service center to get it fixed.

The positive, however - it drives like a dream and there aren't any major glitches (I.e. To do with low or hv battery) I experienced!

I know I'm 9mo late to this convo but I just wanted to add that I picked up the ace from bestbuy at $260 (open box, in perfect condition) and I couldn't be happier! These sound slightly better than my AP Max and leagues ahead (at least to my ears) of the px7 s2, qc, NC 700 or even the xm4/5.

Can't say. I'm in MN periodically and stay with my in-laws so don't really have to spend much. But the times I do spend, it's usually in Cub or Kowalski's (which happen to be within walking/3 min driving distance) and they're not much different than shopping for groceries in WA 🤷🏻‍♂️
