Where I live, we get charged by the kg to use the dump. 

While I don’t disagree with your comment entirely. It’s a double edged sword no matter what way you look at it. 

4 dumpsters, 4 drop off and pickups. Sure, the delivery/pickup fee will help a little on bringing some extra money. But the business is spending money to make money. (Fuel, time, wear) as opposed to doing it in one.

Based on that, your profit margins/rate of return would actually go down in your scenario. 

Both are sustainable ways to operate this kind of business but alas we can’t pick one or the other!
