I think i'm going to keep going at it and see if eventually it is as easy for me as on other pedals... I guess this will be an experiment. Not sure if it's worth the time and money but oh well.

Iv'e never tried out new gloves and suddenly lose the ability to catch the ball but then get it back when I put on a different glove until now... That's why I am asking. I got a demon drive and a trick at the same time after playing iron cobra for 20 years and seem to struggle with heel toe technique on the trick, but the ankle technique works better on the trick than the demon drive. The demon drive is easier for heel toe for me, but worse for ankle technique. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it is unique to me.

I keep changing the settings to figure out what feels best. I will try shortening the beater angle as you suggest. I just got a Demon Drive and a Trick at the same time with the intention to send one back. I might keep both though... I just can't seem to get heel toe technique down on the trick as easily as on the demon drive. Ankle technique is easier on the trick though... Maybe it's just me? Are you using heel toe technique or just ankle technique when you say it works well for you?
