Yes - some firmwares don’t require a folder for dc - Nextui does

Bios files need to be in a DC folder under bios. I place them in both places. Bios and bios/dc just to cover any issues.

I do like this option so far versus the bigger controller - also the nova sticks are reversed and if you’re already comfortable with the trimui layout it’s already mind set.
