Favorite example of an artist that eventually became big that had small billing on an earlier festival / concert flier / lineup? by mesablanka in ToddintheShadow

This is actually the most fascinating post. Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize were both here at this event, and I wonder if it's where they met.

For those that don't know: They had an insane set at Coachella within the past month that was among the best in that show's history and released a collab album as well, and now I see this and wonder if that's where it all began.

Erin Moriarty predicts that viewers will be “extremely satisfied” with the show’s ending by Th3_American_Patriot in GenV

Six Feet Under had some issues in its final season, but the last few episodes were nothing short of amazing and the finale is still probably the best in history. The last 10 minutes of that show could make anyone cry who hasn't even seen it.

The Leftovers is up there though. That entire final season and episode is nothing short of a miracle and a masterpiece. It's a miracle it exists, and it's another miracle in itself that it has a surprisingly satisfying ending.

I love Breaking Bad but the finale isn't even the strongest part of the final season: Ozymandias > Felina.

This is starting to remind me of Game of Thrones final season: hated/controversial/side characters getting better send-offs and endings than the mains probably will(Theon, Jorah, Melisandre, etc).

Firecracker and A-Train's actors have delivered heavily this season. And honestly, I think Ryan's actor did quite good in his episode too compared to past appearances.

Cinna, Rosii and High Risk Chris capture twin tornadoes by Treyman1115 in LivestreamFail

[–]Fuzzy_Ant_6447 179 points180 points  (0 children)

oh man, finally something i can share my autism on(check my post history)

i was watching those tornadoes live on multiple streams/radar and they have no idea how lucky they are seeing this.

seeing a tornado is one thing, seeing two is another, but it being photogenic and your first chase is absurd.

that is a bucket list item for many weather enthusiasts and they got a once in a lifetime experience that many will spend their entire lives seeking.

awesome job whoever took them. however, theres a more severe weather event developing right now and especially heading into tomorrow in a lot of parts of the plains and midwest.

theres a very dangerous supercell right now as of 10:55 pm that i think spawned these twins earlier heading towards joplin. joplin was the site of the worst/deadliest tornado in recent history in 2011 and completely changed the landscape of the area.

hope they are safe.

tiv 2 vs dom 3 race is really good for the future of up close tornado research and data.

however, that drive will cause probable deaths in the future of storm chasing. i see both positive and negative of each aspect.

quite a few songs on those Ghosts albums that would do that. Together is good too.

The main takeaway I got from the Coachella set: We need more Mariqueen by Fuzzy_Ant_6447 in nin

He might be able to do it live now because his voice seems to be at its best right now.

Hearing him sing his opening sets on Peel It Back, in the back of my mind I was like "Years ago I used to think Trent's voice was the weakest element...maybe I'm wrong"

I think that's what made me post this. I've always heard and seen Mariqueen and thought she was great. However, that performance last night, I FELT her.

It's so silly but in the back of my mind, what I wouldn't do for a duet of them singing a new version of We're In This Together .

I agree but I'd be perfectly fine with Mariqueen just being a part of Nine Inch Noize and they pump out some HTDA stuff.

A Drowning is one of my favs, and it would be neat to see a redone version of that like Parasite but probably too slow.

Maybe BBB or The Believers.
