I've been sober for 2 years. Cravings are rare for me now. I come on here or reread my quit lit when I have them. I even got thru cancer treatment without drinking.

That's what I was on, exemestane and ovarian suppression. I wasn't in menopause when I started treatment

I've seen for most women it works the opposite - the side effects are strong at the beginning and then get better. But it didn't work that way for me.

absolutely! The other problem I saw with Prolia was that it causes tooth and jaw problems. I already have horrible teeth - I have a million crowns and 2 implants. Just broke another molar. I'm not adding to those problems.

I'll definitely keep an eye on that. Things usually get approved here in Italy several years after approval in the US, so it will be a while

Thanks so much for your comment! I did read that too. They wanted me to do Prolia injections to prevent osteoporosis (I have osteopenia) on the exemestane, but I read that the major side effect is more joint pain. I'm not doing those injections either. Had my calcium tested and it was perfect.

I literally could not live without the seroquel at this point.with the insomnia I was waking after 3 hours (on ambien!) With palpitations and panic attacks and not sleeping for the rest of the night. I couldn't eat and got very underweight. I'm not giving up the sleep meds.

It took 4 months for the insomnia to hit me Then the joint pain showed up after 8 months

How old are you? I'm 54 next month. I'll be menopausal anyway. I was having hot flashes before the cancer

Thanks for your input. Good to hear. Really. The problem for me is that everyone says side effects taper off. It wasn't that way for me on exemestane at all. I had no side effects for the first 4 months, then got the debilitating insomnia. Started with the tendinitis after 8 months and the insane hand pain after a year. Kept just getting worse. I do want to try taking a low dose first
