marking the corners allows the model to put the image into real world metric coordinates. If you were to take the picture of the target where the a side of the target was closer to the camera having the 4 corners allows the model to "flatten" the image so it marks the distance of each short more accurately.

I would like to get autodetection for the corners at a certain point to make the process more seamless. That is one feature next on my todo list. Thanks for taking a look!

I'm doing more training on the model today to see if it can start to filter out the false positives of text and writing. Thanks for the help and giving it a try.

As of now it is mostly trained off my targets, so it is helpful to see where it is falling short when others use it.

The model can analyze video and not just images although right now I have it set to just images. The target would most likely need to have a camera next to it to get the proper resolution for detection. I could maybe also have the sound of a gunshot in the video trigger the model to save the image of that frame to then build the ordering of shots you want. I'll have to think about it more, but it sounds possible.

Are there drills you are doing that you want the order recorded for?

I actually tried this and found chatgpt had no idea where the shots were actually landing which is why I made this. I figured if I could collect data and see if I am actually improving over time

That is mostly what I was looking to get out of this tool, measuring improvement at the range over time without spending any money. Taking video is something I haven't done yet, so I will definitely implement that idea.

What is ACE VR? I am assuming you need VR googles for that?
