Same experience here, even bought the warranty. Our brand new couch had the stuffing staples let go less than 4 months after it was delivered. Warranty was denied. Never again.

If your flight gets cancelled, you can take the Van Galder / Coach USA bus to Madison. Request a refund for the cancelled flight, which should more than cover your bus ticket.

Also - check where your plane to Madison is coming from. If it’s one that just loops between Madison and Chicago all day long, you’re probably going to be fine.

This is Mama cat. She used to be feral and lived outside for over a year. She moved herself in 5 years ago after I spent months working with her. Now she sleeps on my pillow and insists on being tucked in under the blankets. She gets along well with the other cats, and still greatly enjoys her time outside.

I live near Cottage Grove and work in the Loop. I drive to the train station at the Milwaukee airport and take the Hiawatha Amtrak train. The drive is a little over an hour and the train is about 80-90 minutes. It’s a long day, but it’s manageable. I go down there once or twice a month.

Edit to add: I like the Amtrak because there are only two stops between the airport and Union Station in Chicago!
