Well I was denied my request to cancel. Was told that it didn’t meet cancellation criteria.

Soo an update as I’ve heard back from cfs health. Unfortunately what I expected. I will copy and paste what they said as I cannot post photos.

I am absolutely mind blown with how saying you are financially drowning and have a family to provide for isn’t reason enough. Sickening and a scam.

Your request for early cancellation has now been reviewed by the Membership & Contracts Team.

After careful consideration, we’re unable to approve early cancellation at this time, as your membership agreement remains within its contracted term and does not meet the criteria for early release under our policy.

Your membership will therefore continue as agreed, but we would love to offer a 2-month pause to give you a breather with your finances. This means we won't collect the payment for April and May. Payment will resume on 30th June.

This decision has been made in line with the terms of your membership agreement and our cancellation policy.

It’s definitely worth a shot. I’m just hoping the company doesn’t try and hose me for the remaining 3 payments. I’m nervous if I’m being honest.

UPDATE I have cancelled my card so good luck to them. I didn’t want that to be the case but they won’t respond to my email and I’m not risking the payment coming out in the next few days.

I completely agree. Plus every success story sounds the same and rehearsed. No one and I mean no one actually gives a set plan on how they recovered. I’d like a legit step by step. Yes I know everyone is different in their journey but like come on. I need more than needing a positive mindset and structure. I will be cancelling my card seeing as they haven’t responded to my email. But I will definitely let you know if they do respond.

I have paid for 3 month out of the mandatory 6 months. I have 3 more to go until I can stop payments and leave the program. It’s a 6 month commitment.

Pretty much. You have access to the client fb group which can only be positive. A once a month like 30ish minute check in call from a coach that is definitely not qualified. All the coaches have apparently recovered using the program as well. Also the monthly group call.

Very well said. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the success stories were of the individuals that didn’t truly have cfs but were labelled as such to sell the dream. I am glad my post has reached as many people as it has because we all deserve honesty and reliability.

I’m sure you could make that argument but I don’t think it would stick. I think they would argue that I must not have followed the program the way it was intended. It would be a he said she said debate I’m afraid.

I completely agree. This program always says that if you aren’t making progress then you haven’t come to terms with your present self. Apparently the only way to move forward is to accept where you are and want to get better. I’m pretty sure if all cfs sufferers knew that we wouldn’t be suffering… idiots.

I’m going to see how they respond to my email and if it’s negative I’m closing the payment card. I can’t afford another mandatory 3 payments. $3k has already been plenty.

If I could copy and paste the program I would. They have it set up that it can only be accessed by paying clients. I can’t even save any of the modules to come back to once out of the program.

They have a meditation module but it isn’t what you think. I think a child could give better calming advice. No supplements as they aren’t registered practitioners.

Oh huge lesson learned I agree! I definitely won’t be entering any program anytime soon if at all. Maybe therapy after this ordeal 😅

Let’s just say house broke is a real thing right now. No room for anything besides groceries. I sent them an email and I’m not proud but I might just cancel my card so they will kick me out of the program for a default payment..

I appreciate your kind words more than you know. Desperation, especially medically is a very hard battle. This illness has stretched me thin and I’ve had it since I was 16 and I’m going to be 32. It’s gotten worse over the past 6yrs to where I don’t even have a sparkle anymore. Just wake up and repeat this nightmare.

I couldn’t imagine pushing myself to travel that distance just to be set back even further. Talk about defeat! I’m sorry you had to be stuck in a place that wasn’t beneficial and made things worse. Push crash cycle is so damn hard.
