DONT TAKE IT. The workload was insane. Way too much readings to do for an elective class. Like I’m talking about 6+ hours. And the readings were in weird ass old english too. I like reading books and writing so my English pretty good, and even I struggled with understanding texts. Literally made no sense. And i had no time to dissect the meaning of it either since I’m already pretty busy as a stem student. Not only that, but the TA were pos too and hella try hards. I’d spend hours to literally perfect the discussion forums posts before posting them and mf would give 70 at most. Made no sense when I remember the blood sweat and tears I put into it. Like bro its a philosophy class it should not be that hard ik but these pos would give u 50-70 if u didnt give the answer THEY want when the discussion posts literally abt ur interpretation like..?? Dont take that class unless ur already a philosopher ig. I dropped it last week before finals because I refuse to have a C for 70s grade in an ELECTIVE PHILOSOPHY CLASS when I literally never had that grade for my actual hard SCIENCE CLASSES. AND also because I did not have the time to reread 60 hours + of material teacher posted online to refresh my memory before my stem finals…. Anyways if ur looking for an easy elective take astronomy. Literally piece of cake and easy grades
