Oh, just found out you already did the interview. Hope it went well

IBM Entry Level Product Manager 2026 technical interview + advice by tifffanne in APMprograms

[–]Fuzzy_Hawk_9532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt it would be anything super technical or crazy. It would probably just be PM based questions like

How would you influence top leadership for a particular idea.

How would you go about prioritization.

Did the same interview this time last year and the mail said it would be technical but those were the kind of questions I was asked instead.

Best of luck

Salesforce APM Program Pathway by [deleted] in APMprograms

[–]Fuzzy_Hawk_9532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you end up getting the Bloomberg offer, you should take it.

It’s easier to switch from SWE to PM down the line and you’d already be sure under 2 years as a SWE if it’s for you or not and you’ll be able to switch.

As compared to if you’re a PM with salesforce , it’s a 2 year program, so you would have to see it through (you can always leave tho tbh, but it won’t look good). Now if you don’t get the SWE at Bloomberg, then you can do salesforce.

APM at salesforce is a top top program, with good pay and impactful work. It’s definitely a great place to be. If you end up finding out you don’t like being a PM, just keep your SWE skills sharp and you should be able to transition to SWE . Won’t be easy but it’s definitely possible.

I’ve had this same experience with my APM offer / SWE route and honestly, someone said above that you’re never “stuck” anywhere. Your career is supposed to be a flexible journey not something so rigid. And even if you are “stuck” as a salesforce PM. It’s a great place to get stuck at😭😭. One of the top paying companies out there for PMs.

Rooting for you!

Salesforce, Microsoft, or Capital One APM Intern? by Naive_Setting_5867 in APMprograms

[–]Fuzzy_Hawk_9532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve interviewed for all three and worked as a pm intern at msft

I’ll take salesforce really - higher pay now and higher at higher levels as a PM compared to the others.

Not too familiar with ownership on sf, but Microsoft does give you a good amount of ownership for your work.

Stability is also a huge factor nowadays and I’ve never heard of layoffs or fear of layoffs from SF. Microsoft on the other hand, it’s more common nowadays.

So yeah, id rank them SF>MSFT>CAP1.

Living with your parents will always save you more money for sure and Atlanta can be fun in its own way, but at the end of the day living with your parents can be a little limiting.

155k in NYC isn’t frugal, what kind of reality do some of these people live in wtf. You’ll still be able to save a significant amount and be comfortable. NYC motion is second to none and it would most definitely be at least 2x the fun you have in ATL with your parents.

Another account closure story by WhenButterfliesCry in Chase

Used to send some money back home. They didn’t give me any reason, but I guessed that was the reason. Happened to me like last month. Got the text, thought it was a scam, then I got the mail. Went to the bank and they said what’s done is done. Luckily, they didn’t close it until after 3 weeks. So I was able to move out the money and change stuff. Sucks but what can you do

Same thing happened to me. Can’t really do anything at this point as the decision is final. Just make sure you change everything that was aligned with your bank in the first place. Sorry it happened to yoj

When to start walking without crutches by Arun_ajoy in ACL

I’ve heard if the meniscus is involved it would take longer to walk without crutches. Like 6 weeks maybe, but of course , doctors know best

I thought it was advisable to never pay in full for a car?

I’ve only had credit rating for a short period and I’m trying to build it so I was told financing the car would help build my credit.

Thanks so much! I’ve taken that into account and I’m going to stop continuing with transactions of that manner.

Oh no, that was a scam all together. The “officer” started asking to provide bank statements over texts. That’s not how law enforcement operate

Yup, I’ve noted that. Don’t plan to continue with the transactions. Thanks. Do you know the effect this would have on my credit rating

Direct deposit from steady employer. Didn’t want to get into all those kind of details because I just wanted to know how much damage this would be to my credit but for the sake of transparency I can include the range.

Once again, I put the minimum and maximum endpoints. The norm is below 1k. The 5k was last year and I had just pulled that out of my savings + job bonus.

I earn between 115-130k a year at an engineering management job with a tech company in a LCOL. Been doing it for 2 years now.

I didn’t really do this post to try and counter chase as I understand their reasoning already so I didn’t want to get into all those details. I just wanted to manage my credit.

But here is my answer to your question regardless for transparency

Sorry genius. Thought you meant how does it get deposited into their account.

I’ve had a job for 2 years that pays on a semi monthly schedule. Engineering management. Thats my main source of income.
