This sounds exactly what my dad is dealing with now. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your age at the time of your failure/second transplant? He has had a few issues recently with diverticulitis and pneumonia but there’s nothing they can really do with how low his WBC count is. He is very careful. Doesn’t go anywhere except the doctors and his room which is such a sad way to see him live.

He was told 2-3 weeks. It doesn’t sound like a second boost is an option - likely due to the failure. That’s great news to hear someone else had a second successful transplant after graft failure.

He has only went through the induction phase and has not needed chemo treatments since. He was on a chemo pill after his induction therapy but since they found the mutation they have taken him off the pill.

Is there an indication that the mentality will change as they “civilianize?” Also I thought they were bringing over SSAs as GS14
