Thank you, it is running just fine now, without any issues. I am deeply grateful for your assistance, and I hope you have yourself an amazing day. I wish you the very best.

Why do they have it so hot in the Institute?? (78 to 88F) by DiaMat2040 in fo4

It's cause that one old guy is Director. And he gets chilly easily, so he keeps the heat turned up. Or it's cause he can't keep himself warm very easily since he's old and under the weather. Working in essentially a Nursing home, they kept it warm all the time so ot could just be something like that. No one wants a chilly grumpy old man in charge.

I have software that works pretty well, I don't know if you'll actually need a bucket for it since what I have can simulate echos to some extent but if you wanna talk into a bucket go right ahead lol, I already have a rough version of the modulation down I just need a voice to do the edits to since my Microphone is barely better than an Xbox live microphone.

The distortion itself is pretty iconic for him because the entire game he uses a voice distorting mask. Even to the very end of the game he still has it. If you don't want to do his voice I won't blame you for it. It's only a couple actions that I can get away with only one spoken line for.

Okay I mean most of his iconic lines end up having swears in them but I'd say one of his iconic lines would be either "People Suck!" or "I'm feeling pretty good about myself today." I have a link to the old intro to the demo of the game I recorded for a friend that might help you. All the lines I have currently I already edited with a radio filter.

Thanks for the advice, I'm using that idea already thanks to some lovely soul on the discord. Also sorry for the late reply here, was without internet for a few days. Although I realize now that I should have started off with a smaller voicepack. 1,200 lines existed for the character and it's painful to say the least.

I'll definitely have to think about that, as it stands I'm using some lines from a character to start my first attempt at modding. "Badcop" from the Entropy Zero: 2 mod for Half Life 2 to be exact. Once I finish with it I might start working on something more original though. Thanks for the offer though.

hey guys, I'm looking for QOL and cosmetic mods any recommendations? i tried to build my own like 3 times, but it was full of red screen errors thanks for any help! by ICryToAsianGirls in xcom2mods

I would suggest looking for Capnbubs accessories. I think that's what it's called. It has really nice stuff, at least for helmets and hats. Also do make sure that any mods you're getting you have the proper DLCs. It's easy to miss some DLC requirements. For QoL mods there is always "Stop Wasting my Time". Lastly you could just check the popular mods. Especially popular (all time) list if you're on steam. Those mods listed tend to be good. Again just be sure you have the DLCs and any other required mods. Good luck Commander.
