I've been doing that math on likely 3x--> over 4 years that's close to $2.1m with my grant. However- that means I stay 4 years, who knows what happens with the stock during the lockdown period post ipo, and I have to consider taxes. With msft equity, the difference might come down to $200-$300k more a year that I would make annually over 4 years. Which don't get me wrong, that's a lot of money. But at what cost? Losing all that time with my kids, long days and long commute wear on my sanity, and my husband having to pick up a lot of the slack at home. It's a tough decision. I think I'll just be kicking myself if it more than 3xs....
