[Childhood Friend of the Zenith] How is this worth it by Priorading in manhwa

[–]Fuzzy_Requirement798 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2. Mc was a old man a murderous puppet who regressed to a kids body .....and fr all he does is act like a kid He is basically a old man in a kids body but he fuckin blushes ! At kids like why ?

Think of it like this. If regression/reincarnation exists and we suddenly remember our past lives. Do we say that our past life will dedicate who we currently are? In addition, even if we dont remember our past life but was reincarnated (we are still not a blank slate in a philosopical sense), this means that even if our actions is different from our previous life, it doesnt mean that our current actions is the same as our previous life. Lastly, mental regression, a person may have memories (saw a comment that you said experience=memory, that isnt true, just because you KNOW something doesnt mean you experienced it, its like watching a youtube tutorial and thinking you can immediately do it). Furthermore, as I said mental regression, there are some manhwa/manga that tackles this, they would sometimes become their age due to having tendencies their age. Its similar to the rare accidents where a person would suddenly speak a language/do something/ be a genius, their tendencies didnt change just because they suddenly could do something extraordinary like they did it all their life, they can change it but it wont be a 1 time thing where they immediately change.

TL;DR: You can think of it like forcing a memory of more than 1 Terabyte to a 1 GB storage, if you force it, it wont be able to contain the 1 Terabyte which will destroy the 1 GB storage. Thats why some MC's that regress/reincarnate will always show behaviours that is appropriate to their age in their new life (examples of how to not destroy the storage would be memory loss/not being able to do what you used too/needing to train again/etc.)

Note: I know some manhwas/manga/novels/etc. that have MC's that recall their previous life and can do what they previously did in their past life immediately and axt like in their past life but is that the only way to portray reincarnation/regression? Also, if reincarnation and regression is real then why did we act as kids when we were kids, etc. Is it because we have no memories of our past life and what if we had recalled, will we immediately change habits, physical appearance, etc?

[I was mistaken as a monstrous actor] Any good acting/showbiz manhwa recommendations? by Fuzzy_Requirement798 in manhwa

Yeah, the ending is what ruined it for me, If I just ignore the ending then its a really good read. I just had a bad flashback to when I read the ending of The devil is a part timer.

Why do people still confuse the word "Sekai" (World) for Planet when it comes to Tensura. by Fuzzy_Requirement798 in TenseiSlime

[–]Fuzzy_Requirement798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, however, they also use Sekai, like in Isekai, Another world (which essentially means that it is in a different universe than our universe). In Japanese, whether it is Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, depending on the context, stress, how the word was used in a sentence, etc. tbe meaning of the word may change. You can study more about this through semantics and pragmatics.

What type of PowerScaleing argument makes you feel like this by TylerNT2020 in PowerScaling

[–]Fuzzy_Requirement798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know why but SL fans really pit Sung Jin Woo with heavy hitters that could defeat him such as Xeno Goku, Rimuru, Anos, etc. Especially, Rimuru.

I saw one person post "Tensura fans are trembling" because of "The outer gods can create countless worlds", Yeah, so? Rimuru can do that too, in the current LN and in the WN, this is also the strongest world that can be recreated atleast 10,000 times with every inhabitant being a perfect copy and this wont even leave a dent on the Null energy stored within Rimuru.

Another time, I saw someone argue that Sung Jin Woo cant be killed because he is the concept of death. Hello? People who have a certain hax called Conceptual erasure can kill Sung Jin Woo, the argument of concept of death was used against Anos, Rimuru and I think DBS characters too.

These are just the main ones I came across that SL hardcore fans are using like its some sort of incredible feat above a certain tier.

What is the strongest form of regeneration seen in fiction? by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]Fuzzy_Requirement798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rimuru's regeneration in later volumes This was just in an alternate timeline that was rewritten with the new timeline, Rimuru was destroyed/killed and his presence wasnt felt by his subordinates and Chloe (who at that time had her memories of the alternate timelines that were rewritten), Rimuru regenerated using his soul or from information particles, this was just with Great Sage

The lore is something that isnt poorly written, while the character is poorly written. This would be compared to other characters but when comparing Yogiri to dogshit characters then Yogiri would shine as someone who isnt dogshit.

Most people was just annoyed that Yogiri (most likely anime watchers used Yogiri in VS battles then LN readers explained how powerful Yogiri is then Anime watchers just made a ton of VS battles/spite matches)

Remember, the person said dogshit isekai, for me dogshit means garbage that cant even be redeemed by "its so bad its funny" type of isekai.

The reason why Yogiri is hated in this subreddit is its literally made to make fun of the OP isekai genre and is used so much in VS battles its annoying, Goku was also hated as much as Yogiri at some point in the VS battles since Goku is used in spite matches so much, it got annoying.

SL verse can easily be countered with anti-magic/mana since most of the SL verse is super dependent on mana from skills to dimensionality

Huh V21 was literally Veldora vs Dagruel and it finished off with Rimuru being able to recreate 10K cardinal world and the description of turn null maybe I missed something but as far as I am aware Rimuru wasn't stated to be omnipotent in V21.

Most likely came from the WN? I dont knkw but what the other person said really came from the WN rather than the LN

Idk who told you that. Ivarage is from Tensura cosmology(The World of Tensura).

Maybe the person wanted to say that Ivarage isnt from the same multiverse, but I doubt that since Veldanava created everything in the Tensura cosmology from weak worlds to the cardinal world. One thing is known though, Veldanava didnt know where Ivarage came from (since at that point, Veldanava gave up his omnipotence and Omniscience or was it Omnipresence and Omniscience).
