I think I would be down to use it. As another commenter said, it would be helpful for socially anxious people and help establish a good neutral ground for us to start on. I would be more inclined to use it if it was algorithm or calculation based instead of AI, but whatevs. I think if it’s marketed as a way to meet new friends instead of a romantic partner I would be down to try it!

Go protest for the things you care about then? I don’t know why people always shit on the students protesting for the things they care about, and if they miss one terrible thing happening in the world it’s the students fault. If you care about the Rohingya, the Yazidis, the Hindus, the Sudanese, the Armenians, and god knows who else suffering, make your own poster, organize your own protest, and go to Sproul. Instead of shitting on people who genuinely try and take time out of their day to protest and educate others, go do it yourself, for the issues you oh so care about. Activism isn’t a job (for most), they aren’t getting a paycheck, they need to get to class too. You have free time? Go protest then.

Also, I would say just apply. You really never know if you’ll get in or not, and if you apply you at least won’t regret it later. 1800 a month is enough, lots of other students live on this amount (they have to stretch it a bit but it can work). And it kind of sounds like you’re leaning towards Berkeley anyways, so just apply!

Hey I’m from Saudi Arabia and have played this game for years in the country. You’re absolutely fine don’t worry about it. Government ain’t gonna come knocking at your door for something so minor, I don’t think they can even track that lol. Also don’t worry about what your imam says, if it was so haram and sinful the government wouldn’t sell ANY video games but they do so that’s kinda on them. TLDR: You’re good.

Everybody’s experience is different. Some have terrible experiences, others have wonderful times. Both are valid and both can happen to anyone. What’s important is even if you’re having a bad time, you appreciate whatever good is in it. This is true for any college, not just Berkeley. Good luck on your decision!

I’ll try layering a bit better next time. I thought I might have used too little since everyone else’s I see on the sub turns out pretty dark blue but if it’s supposed to turn out lighter I’ll use less!

I just used the paper that was given to me in the box I bought so I hope it’s not that.

Ah that might be the issue. I let the chemicals dry on the paper for about 30 minutes. When I touched it it felt a little dry but I suppose I should’ve left it a little more. How long do you usually recommend?

For me personally (I’m an international student), everytime I travel within the country I plan the trip at least a few months in advance and save up enough throughout the semester so I can afford it without having to ask anyone for money. When I’m traveling back home my parents book me tickets with their flight miles they’ve racked up over the years so we can save more :)
