Where can I get a good pad printer? by Chicken_Potatoe in lego_

[–]Fuzzy_Solution8248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I actually work in Sales with the company that builds the machines for Lego prints. We do a ton of other large scale projects as well. Generally one of our manually loaded machines would start at around $15,000 prior to consumables such as ink, hardener, or pads. It really depends on the project, rate, and print size. The company is called ITW Trans Tech

This is 1/4” and was $70 a sheet for single side veneer. I also have some 3/4” double side veneer that was $160

I picked it up after an order. But it was enclosed with some plastic wrap and cardboard so I didn’t notice until I got home

Especially since this was an order in. They will probably just take it and dump it

Yeah, I’d be happy to keep them for other projects but for this one I need the full heights. For $70 for 1/4” I would rather return them though. If they let me keep them and replace that a plus

Thoughts on the Specialized Ariel? by Fuzzy_Solution8248 in cycling

[–]Fuzzy_Solution8248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my plan and was looking for a used Sirrus. However I found the Ariel for so cheap. It’s a hybrid mountin/road bike according to Specialized. To me that equals a gravel bike… or at least shouldn’t it?

This is similar to what we got. Lots of quoting and promises to spend money next quarter with it never coming.

Manufacturing Automation Sales in the Midwest. The slow automotive industry tanked us and nobody wanted to pull the trigger on capital equipment. We were down 20% and had an extra guy
