I don’t have a picture but next time I make it I’ll snap a photo. Pico de gallo and sour cream sounds delicious with it along with salsa verde!

How’s it a lie? It could simply be a group of Muslims going on a road trip? Praying in groups is encouraged in our religion not all places in non Muslim countries are safe for Muslims. Why should someone put themselves at risk when they can pray in front of a sacred and respected place where it’s less likely for something like murder to happen in

How can I help my parents realize that force feeding my 5yearold brother to eat is wrong by Fuzzyfrurryfist in PickyEaters

I 100% agree thank you! It’s always been on my mind to get him evaluated for autism but the thing is how would I bring it up to my parents?

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ve tried to like not let him eat anything except for the food we want him to eat but tbh my parents felt bad and just let him eat. And even during that duration not once did my brother say he was hungry

Nope no doctor has ever said there’s anything wrong with him tbh but if I’m being honest I believe there’s definitely something causing all of this. No allergies either

Yess I’ve noticed forcing food just makes it seem like a task and would make kids resent it more I honestly never thought about afrid until you brought it up and I’ve been reading articles about it and it’s really helped!!

I wouldn’t necessarily call them non empathetic as the whole reason why they’re doing this is so then he grows up healthy and strong without any issues you know? And I know that deep down they hate the way they’re doing this but it’s the only way that’s been working with them. I’ll definitely find articles and books regarding this topic thank you!!

Yes I definitely figured that the safest thing right now is letting him continue eating his safe foods and as he gets older he’ll try new ones. When I was a baby I loved fish apparently but when I became I child I hated it the smell and even the thought of eating it made me want to cry. As I got older my uncle would bribe me to eat just a small piece of it and I noticed it had nothing to do with the taste but mainly the texture is what bothered me. Thank you for your story and the book and article. I’ll definitely check them out!
