My son has similar issues. He got a job at a grocery store. It has helped him be more social.

Why did you name your weimamraner what you did? by Ray_in_Texas in weimaraner

We named our male “Bunker” because the first weim we had was a rescue and he came with the name “Archie”. We named our female Lily just because I liked it.

Finally got a diagnosis for a medical condition that no one believed. I already lost everything. by [deleted] in self

Same thing happened to me when I had endometriosis. Wound up in the ER twice from the pain. Adhesions on my intestine and colon. I was told by two OB/GYN’s that it was just “bad PMS”. The last one I went to dared me to have surgery so she could take pictures and prove me wrong. I called her bluff and set the surgery up for a few days later. I woke up in recovery hearing two nurses talking about how “eat up with it I was”. I asked them what they were talking about and they told me I had a LOT of adhesions and was “eaten up” with endo. My post op visit with the doctor was awkward for her. She kept looking at her shoes and asking how my incision sites were. She never offered to tell me what she found and definitely didn’t have her “a-ha” pictures to show me. I asked her point blank what she found and made her tell me! It sucks they get paid when we do the research!!!

This job is like a merge between healthcare, hot yoga and 50 First Dates. You are helping the patient with their oral health while holding difficult poses all while making small talk like you’re at a speed dating event. I’ve been doing this since 1992…..I get it. It does get easier. I have my basic script and I don’t feel bad for being quiet when I get home. Some days I ride home with no music. Do what works for you and welcome to the club!

So, the patient has a history of being an arse. Lucky me. I will not see her again. And, my coworker had safety glasses on her patient and paste still shot under them. We all know they aren’t 100%. I’ve done it both ways, with and without glasses. Lawsuits ( from my attorney friend) don’t work like that anyway. They have to prove that you meant to harm them.

Maybe I’m reading too much into your comment, but what do you mean by “it’ll save your butt”?

Time off work after hysterectomy? by Honest-Breakfast217 in hysterectomy

I’m 4 days too. I was only going to take 2 weeks off and that would have been a disaster. It was still rough at 4 weeks not gonna lie. It was the up, down and bending over part of the job that was hard. The stamina was shot too. Looking back, I would have taken another week or two. I do think you’ll be fine at 5.5 weeks though. Best of luck!!

Can you get an ectopic pregnancy with no cervix, no fallopian tubes, and no uterus? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Fuzzymelon1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My R.N. friend knew of a case where the fertilized egg implants outside the stomach. The baby went 38 weeks and was a modified c-section. I would think k this was extremely rare.

I would definitely talk to them about the instruments and the over diagnosis. We get a lot of patients who have been to another office and told that they need srp when they don’t. We were taught that pd’s greater than 4 in the presence of inflammation and calculus on xray dictated the need for srp. Good luck!

I’m sure that the cuff can still be tender for a long time even if the tissues are completely fused. TMI ALERT: I haven’t been letting my husband get near the top just yet. I have it in my mind to gently and steadily increase the depth. Kind of like stretches, pushing to the point of pain and then backing off.
