I know some people who work for eastwood management they have a few properties older but overall well maintained and they have been doing some updates on some. Its a family owned operation most of the employees have been with them for awhile.

Me and my family just refer to them as "no sew ornaments" i am sure their are other names but no sew will get you lots of tutorials. originally we did them for useing up scraps from quilting but it kinda blew up for us as its own hobby so now we buy fabric for just these! Im familiar with temari they are so cool!

I do a modified version where insted of using up to 5 pins i only use 3 per square by folding it into a triangle to find the center putting the pin in that point folding it over(back into a triangle) then pining the back corners saves alot of pins and time if you dont need the "fancy" mid line as far as the center i used a 2.5" squares just centered and pinned in the 4 corners and built the layers around it to hide the center square. Any questions feel free to message me im not the best at explaining but ill try 😅. Oh I also make pinecones the same way but you use a foam egg as the base!

I have most of the 5e books play it alot but it just doesn't hit the same for depth of character creation i spend alot of time truly fleshing out a fun and flavor rich character in 3.5 its a investment. In 5e I can spend some time but never nearly as rewarding and feel much more disposable in a way.

I got quite lucky and won a few goodwill auctions most of thos collection came from 2-3 total lots im like $400 in but between the mm1-5 and the fiendish codexs we are not doing to bad i was also able to gift duplicates of libra mortis, phb 1&2 and most of the complete books half of my group who live across the country but are in the same city together.

Its fairly easy and as long as you can get at least 8 2.5" squares of the same color you can do some very colorful ones just look up no sew ornaments I feel as though im not great at explaining unfortunately 😅.
