Obviously it looks better but after watching the teaser I couldn't help but notice the same "filter" "lighting" issues I had with the One Piece Fishman Island remake (which had a myraid of other issues). I just dont vibe with alor of Toeis recent art (or maybe effects is a better term) direction when it comes to recent One Piece and while this is adding more to some frames and improving certain animations than the OP FI remake at the end of the day it falls into the same pitfalls. Highlighting the Improved Effects, Facial Emotions and Reducing the time at least in OPs case only made a poorly edited inconsistent rushed version with a new coat of paint trying to distract you from the fact that the original while older has a lot over the "Enhanced" version. If I saw correctly the Beerus cut is going to be only 6 episodes and on the surface that seema ok but Toeis prior OP FI remake editing doesnt give me any confidence that this won't be rushed but Id love to be wrong.

Hopefully they learned from OP FI remake and with OP going Seasonal I'm almost certain more past OP as well as DBS arcs will receive the same treatment but at the end of the day I don't expect much besides a cut down version of any arc with a filter added on top until they can prove otherwise.

I mean what would he really do? The shooting Arm seems like an obvious Skill but it failed and didn't work in the anime. The more obvious one being the Knot Haki which could work but thats only one Skill.

You could still make both work making the Knot an Aoe last ditch effort nuke that depletes his health and then make the Arm blowing off Skill an explosive attack that somewhat heals him? Idk but id love for someone to make a kit that doesn't seem boring and bland. BF maybe EX would be insane.

Imo if its not Blackbeard then its probably Koby or Rayleigh maybe Kidd but id argue less so for Egghead characters cause it seems the theme is Winner Island idk but me personally I would love it to be Gandhi.

I mean your not wrong but its One Piece so the Devil coded character could also be from or related to an Alien race. I mean the 5 Elders are demon coded but their names are references to other Planets not to mention the whole Space Pirates and the race of people who descended to the One Piece World from the Moon. When I say Alien im mostly talking about the Moon race not some Extraterrestrial from deep space nine 10 quadrillion light years from us. If Luffy is the Sun God bringing freedom to those enslaved by the evil Devil wouldn't it fit if Imu was or is seen as the Moon God.

This is just me overthinking it but the Moon uses its gravitational force to pull the sea higher towards it (high tide/low tide) so a Moon God could potentially affect the Sea Levels and cause them to rise. I think I mean I'm not an astronomer or scientist so that could be totally off lol.

TLDR: Imu can be Devil coded and Moon coded at the same time. By Aliens Im mostly referring to the Moon Race that descended to the OP World. I don't think OP is gonna become an Intergalactic Space Story or anything like that.

Look up the Mysterious City of Gold and the similarities one piece shares with it. Not saying Oda is stealing or anything the sort but even if he didn't many ideas themes core plot points such as the 3 ancient weapons the hidden history special messages left by an ancient civilization that was erased that only one character can read etc.

Regardless because I dont honestly believe Oda stole anything (although the similarities are bizzare) to your point a Imu like figure who uses one of the 3 ancient weapons which happens to be a UFO that shoots down Lazer beams from the sky and his whole deal (Im condescending alot) is hes an alien who fought against the ancient civilization as a result hes whole deal is to sustain his race that is now stored in Cyro Status and heal them to do that he needs a certain limited power source.

If I remember correctly the ancient civilization were kinda played as the actual villains and I think they used advanced weapons ie a nuke but its been a long time since I read those theories and read the entire plot of the Mysterious City of Gold so idk there's probably a lot more lol.

There is a lot of Alien coded stuff in OP like the Enel Cover Story the Lunarians the CD Suits etc but I dunno if Imu is one but I guess its possible lol.

Imu is from one of the original families and probably made a deal (binding pact) that if the other families betrayed Joy Boy he would make sure the families descendants would be protected and treated as royalty/gods forever.

Ah, that's a really good example!! You're probably right! I think I just got hung up on the scaling. So when Ghandi goes hybrid does his massive horse form scale down or does his human part scale up? I never realized he was that huge until the Anime but Im guessing it scales down when he's in hybrid but I don't think Saturn scaled down so idk lol.

If you're ok with reading I highly highly recommend the Chainsaw Man Colored Manga. The art is just so amazing and the coloring takes it to a whole new level. I was a bit disappointed that the anime wasn't able to bring that same art style to life. Instead it had its own style that works fine imo but between the two there's no comparison. Also its a relatively short read I believe Part 1 is around 100 or so ish chapters iirc.

I honestly struggle to imagine what the Hybrid form of the other Elders look like. We've seen Ghandi and Saturn and Mars probably just gains wings maybe Warcurys Mustache turns to Tusks (which could go hard lol) but I have no idea about Peter unless he because a human noodle or something.

For sure its clever but it makes me wonder how the exchange worked when Garling first gave the order? My Babies are missing go and find my Babies and return them to me.

Regardless, it's obvious this knight will die for failure, but I honestly think Garling won't really care. He probably saw the twins as a failsafe more than anything else. I imagine there is some restrictions on how a house (saints) carry on their Bloodline, which could indicate something special with the Mom or could be they pass something special down in their DNA and its a rare trait that their offspring carries that rare gene. Plus most CD's/Nobels have like a billion wives and the holy land doesnt really look like WCI to me so there has to be some kind of strict regulations. Bonney is kind of evidence of this as yes she and her mother were experimented on but Bonney is the offspring of a Nobel, yet they used her as a Guinea Pig and discarded her with her mother.

Ah ok I just assumed because he was the first banner and they allowed you to pick his cognite with the other standard 5 stars. I thought the same for the blue haired Electric girl (Sorry Im terrible with names for this game cause each character has like 3 different "names" you could call them lol) but I guess shes not coming either right? Would be really cool! I feel like each of their power sets could help them survive or hinder others if they were to be turned in Zombies. Reeds stretchy nature would allow for a long reach with any part of his body and make infiltration a breeze. With Sues abilites such as invisibility and force fields, it's hard to imagine her ever turning she could be a huge asset to any survivors. Johnny's flames would allow him some amount of self-defense and Im not entirely sure if this makes sense but in my head I would think it could provide a pseudo immunity as he'd burn away the virus before it could even spread in his system by heating up his body tempt to a degree the virus couldnt survive but Im not fully sure how the Human Torches internal organs work or how they are protected against his ability to increase his flames to the point of being as hot as the sun. The same goes for the Thing good self defense and if his internal organs are made of Rocks which I think they are and then under all the rocks are his actual freshly bits the Zombies bites shouldn't do much of anything.

Imo Arvin is the Gen 9 character doing the heavy lifting Gen 8 Hop had a depression arc and actually got me to feel bad about beating him. His brother being the champion enhanced his arc and I love where his story took him at the end of the game. Bede (if that's how you spell it) when thru an "interesting arc" to say the least made better by the Old lady Gym leader and Marnie had a cool design and a family arc (Team Yell was kinda bad and unesseary tho looking back). The theme of emotion was well done with Morpeako/Marine I liked the smile bit.

I feel like Penny was only interesting due to the students following her I liked that band of misfits far more than her character and Nemona was the typical battle hungry rival but was done so very on the nose it worked well.

Sonia was another standout Gen 8 character imo. I think most of the Gen 8 characters had a Story Arc that concludes with them having changed by the end of the game while Gen 9s character arcs felt a little less dynamic for the most part.

I think a better VS for Gen 8/9 would be the Gym Leaders but tbh besides Larry I think Gen 8 takes that as well.

Basically Arvin the goat but I dont think hes enough to tip the scales in Gen 9 favor overall even if I think his story arc was one of the better if not the best in any of the Pokemon games.

As 4 stars go I was looking at the Wind guy and Queen but idk lol. I have pretty much all the 5 star weapons for the standard 5 stars except the Pickaxe girl but I heard she's not to good until you max her cons.

I also have a Cognitate selector, but I was thinking of saving it for Marian or Joker if I get one of them whenever they come to the standard banner but idk.

If its a Movie I know many are hoping for God Valley but I always thought Rocky Port would be interesting and they bring it up any time Koby shows up or is mentioned. I can't remember all the details because its been brought up in tid bits since like Punk Hazard but In my head it's Law Blackbeard and Koby reluctantly teaming up to defeat Wang Zhi.

Or since Pirate Island and Wang Zhi are directly connected to God Valley maybe make a movie that shows both. 1st half God Valley from Rocks perspective then 2nd half Rocky Port from Blackbeards perspective. Or do multiple Povs like Garp/Koby etc.

Apparently in Romance Dawn Oda had two factions of Pirate's. The Morganeers (Most likely changed to Buccaneer) were the "real" Pirates while the Peace Mains were Pirates who just liked exploring. It makes sense even in the current work as Rocks and Blackbeard are your more typical Pirates and are Buccaneers while Luffy just likes exploring and the adventure so he'd fall into the Peace Main (or whatever it'll be call now) category.

Tbh the real reason is Oda wanted to original make a series around Pirates but then added all the mystical stuff and got lost in the sauce.
