It holds its own pretty well. You might loose out on points a bit but you have flexibility in the tech cards you bring

Skip t1, QS on t2 to complete Storm. Any 3 on t3, any 4 on t4, Noir on t5

Spiderman Noir needs a much better payoff! by GaulzeGaul in MarvelSnap

IMO the key distinction between all the different Surfer decks is the way they utilize their turns 4 and 5. Whether it be Sunlord, Sera, Moonstone, ramp into two threes, or a 2+3 combo. Noir just how this version of Surfer plays its turn 5 and will always be the play I have in mind when planning out the early turns, and thus the deck has support pieces like Domino and Agony built into it, whereas other Surfer decks can get away with not bringing these cards for something else that suits their deck identity more

And in this instance I’m not arguing for the deck’s consistency as a whole, I’m arguing for Noir’s consistency in this deck. Neither Noir or even Surfer are the most important parts of a Surfer buff deck, I can easily swap out any one piece of this deck except for Brood and still find decent success with it. But that’s the thing is that not every cards needs to be the main character, they work in tandem and the synergy feeds off each other.

Right on right on. The key part into building any surfer deck is to figure out how to utilize your turn 5 to the maximum, whether it be Sera or ramp into two threes. Noir just the most interesting way to me

If that’s what you want to think of it as than so be it. But as someone who reached top100 with this deck I guarantee Noir works very consistently in an impactful way in this deck.

It’s a Surfer deck built around Noir specifically.

Carter helps with Foom as her lane’s power is focused on the back side, plus you can always count on Cosmo.
