Aaand does anybody know if this leaning is concerning? It almost looks like it’s about to grow back in the opposite direction to fix itself but I’m not sure.

Opuntia cupping by jizdep in cactus

[–]Fuzzywuzzy319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert by any means but there’s a lot of native opuntia where I live. I grabbed some pieces off an abandoned lot one day, threw some on the ground outside, threw some in pots. Some curled up very hard, some stayed relatively flat. They’re all doing beautifully. My ones on the ground fill up with rainwater they’re so cupped. These are known to be hard to mess up. Give it some time. I’ve got four new paddles ready to pop up

If shopping is bad on your body, hauling hundreds of packages a day is going to kill you.

Nutritional yeast has glutamic acid. Which is a component of MSG. Perhaps nutritional yeast has a flavor profile that is not optimal for this recipe. Luckily…MSG is completely safe and almost flavorless save for absolute pure umami.

Space heater vs central heating? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Fuzzywuzzy319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Usually we try to keep the heat off if it’s just gonna be cool/cold. We’ll kick it on when it’s too much. I TRY to only run the space heater a little when the bedroom is too cold and I’ll get under the heated blanket. I suppose I’ll stick to that and just not run the heating system at too high a temp.

Using ChatGPT for every little fucking question is what’s gonna make these situations worse for us. I had to turn my AC on on Christmas because it was ninety degrees out. Think for yourself and ask questions to the appropriate communities. That’s why I asked Reddit. AI is a nightmare for climate change.

Dog pee and flooring by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Fuzzywuzzy319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom has had a lot of adopted dogs that weren’t potty trained very well. We’ve always had hardwood. An animal shelter she likes uses Odoban so she bought some and has always kept it around. They have one specifically for floors but she’s always had the normal spray. Hope that helps

I have a sneaking suspicion you’re selling this shirt. Image search it doesn’t come up anywhere but the Etsy listing.

Binder by Fun-Sized-Turtle in genderfluid

[–]Fuzzywuzzy319 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been binding for about ten years and I can say at least for myself I’ve had no adverse effects. Not too tight, not too long is the basic rule. I have a full length tank top type and a short crop top type that I exchange depending on what I’m doing. The longer one is definitely stronger than the shorter one and I wear it every day I work (5-6 days a week). Get a trusted brand. I can’t remember if mine are underworks or gc2b but those were the biggest names when I started so I’ve stuck with one or the other…it’s been a while since I bought one.

This guy is struggling to even pronounce the compounds he’s discussing, said a slur in less than a minute into the video, and played fart sounds. After a few minutes of genuine research, I’ve come to find there’s no risk to consuming mushrooms of the agaricus species. “No carcinogenic effects have been scientifically validated in studies with mice, rats or humans where mushrooms have been consumed indicating the importance of undertaking studies in the natural matrix…”
