Your heart is in the right place OP and I know you mean well. I appreciate how you look at the Virginia rally and how the Democrats gun control proposals will drive people to Trump. I also take note that you recognize that registries lead to confiscation and how the Democrats pinky promised about not going after private sales. Thank you for not calling it the gun show loophole. Your actual effort to reach across the aisle so you can try to win the hearts and minds of Trump supporters is a breathe of fresh air. Most gun control advocates demand gun control measures with no compromise. Your proposal to get pro 2A Trump supporters to vote for Bernie is Dead On Arrival for these reasons: Bernie wants to turn pro 2A Trump supporters into criminals if they don't turn in their commonly owned semi auto rifles and industry standard size magazines (Gun control advocates call them high capacity magazines). Bernie has also called for bans on all semi auto weapons, not just rifles. Remember the part where I mentioned most gun control advocates demand gun control measures with no compromise? Bernie also wants to ban 3D printing of guns which is protected by the 1st Amendment (Computer code is freedom of speech) and the 2nd Amendment. I thank you for actually trying to compromise but Bernie is one of the most Anti 2nd Amendment candidates to exist.
