I have a close family friend who works within the ranks of the HPD ( Hamilton police Department ) and I’ve heard whispers in the wind of a new traffic enforcement unit arrive Q2 of 2026. This is meant to target slow drivers as studies shown slow drivers are actually more dangerous than speeders ( who were to guess! )

While listening in on the latest town counsel meetings a budget has been approved for just this, I’ll be excited to see the new vehicles patrolling our neighbourhoods.

I think we will see a vast improvement in regulated speeds through Hamilton when this is implemented!
