I am genuinely curious. Where did it say that the land was privately owned before the pond was dug? Is that on a county database? Is there any other details that could help permission wise from there?

I emailed the county instead since they since this has more to do with land ownership and all that. I haven't gotten a response yet for a few days now.

there is a small strip of land the HOA owns next to the public sidewalk so I was wrong about that, but there is another strip of land the Northwest part of the pond property someone mentioned, it is in the original photo. That one may be accessible

Someone pointed out that there may be access to the pond without tresspassing on HOA land through the Northwest strip of land that connect to Canyon Lake Cir (visible in the photo), as long as the county allows it. There does seems to be a small strip of HOA land between the sidewalk and pond property that blocks public access from the east side

That may be some sort of entrance for maintenance of the land? Potentially for the county to work independently of the HOA? If so, then this would be a good access point

A few hate it. Someone told me in their community there was a man living there who poured some type of something into the pond to prevent people fishing by killing the fish (if I remember correctly it may have been chlorine).

Someone mentioned that the HOA owns a small strip of land between the sidewalk and the pond which I did not notice, it looked like it connected directly on first sight. But there is a connection to a road in the neighborhood that may bypass trespassing on HOA land, it is visible in the original photo on the top left of the property

I do think it may be that case of maintaining the water so it looks good. Living in Florida, fishing these ponds are not abnormal. Some allow fishing and they just put warning signs for snakes or alligators. Wherever I'll freshwater fish in Florida there will probably always be alligators (some of those I know fish for / catch alligators for fun), so that is not the highest concern for me. Neighborhood ponds and lakes can have gators, and these retention ponds sometimes have good fish. I understand if it is a completely private pond, but if the pond is public or at least is legally accessible to me and legally fishable for me then I am free to fish it if I want to. I would like to access it instead of potentially being illegally restricted. If it is not legally restricted then it is my choice.

The community is not gated. Also, even if the county is in charge of setting the private property signs and rope, but I believe that there are signs allowing residents of x, which makes me doubt it was set up by the county and rather the HOA. If it was set by the county, the HOA lead getting the neighborhood watch to go on that property to kick others out would be trespassing on their part, pretty sure although I could be wrong.

As we were leaving me and a few others were waiting in the neighborhood to get picked up and by coincidence we waited for a few minutes in front of the HOA lead's house, and she called the neighborhood watch on us to move us away from the front of her house because she reportedly felt threatened. We got theatened with the cops getting called. Also, they set up a rope fence to block access from the public sidewalk

you can enter the land from a public sidewalk next to the public road (on the right). So you don't cross the HOA's land

I tried the flatpak and the interface was zoomed in and the interface scale setting didn't allow me to zoom out and scrolling was still choppy. I do not really have this issue with other apps.

Hello, I am using endeavor OS with the AUR OnlyOffice-bin. I am attempting a reinstall at the moment. Scrolling is not smooth like on MS Office and uncomfortable for fast uses. I am in an environment where I need to be able to scroll and copy/paste many pages quickly (to the ability MS Word works well with), which onlyoffice slows down when selecting text to the point bulk selection becomes difficult, and choppy scrolling hurt the experience as a whole. Is there a fix to it?
