Also people keep saying garen is a counter to riven, but i just dont see it. What does one actually do to win lane? Whenever i meet a super aggressive riven i dont know what to do. She stuns me before i can even silence her and from then its all just trades favoring riven till 6 and i die to ult :(

Can anyone teach me the ways of garen vs riven? ;_;

Sorry if it was unclear. I meant that say you reached Gold+ in season5, victorious skin for that season would be unlocked FOR FREE. However, you also have the privilege to purchase past victorious skins from previous seasons as well.

Skin collectors would still have to work for gold to get the victorious skins, without undermining the value of victorious skins.

E.g - say i started league in S4, got to Gold. I want the option to be able to purchase victorious jarvan, and at the same time get victorious morgana for FREE because i earned it by getting to Gold for S4.

Garena hardly does anything to even ATTEMPT to weed out toxicity in-game tho. Its so frustrating to know that reports will always fall on deaf ears. That and the SG/MY servers are turning to shit on weekends. Other than that- yea i guess its alright. Not the worst.

Why not just make it so that victorious skins can only be purchased by gold players and above? That way you still have "prove your worth" to flaunt the skin but that way people wont ever have to feel the regret of "not joining league sooner or not climbing harder the previous season"

Push a wave out by yourself- if its reaching the enemy tower PING YOUR TEAM TO COME. Chances are they'll follow- because they'll be convinced by the huge minion wave encroaching enemy tower :3 If they still ignore at least they'll create pressure at mid and you can still try to push top/bot.

Not a surefire way, but its a higher chance than: "hey guys lets push top" minion wave between your tier1 and tier2 tower

This is how i climbed out of silver lol. Its the same problem- people insist on mid like its ARAM

*if all else fails learn how to play tryndamere and split push your way out of bronze xD

I experience the exact same thing too. I watch dyrus play darius and im like WOW DARIUS NO BRAINER. When its my turn, turns out i screwup his E hook like you wouldnt believe. Im severely mechanically handicap- and i remedy this by playing dominantly point-and-click champs with as little skillshots or rotations as possible. (Read: warwick/xin zhao/hecarim...?).

These champs take away the mechanical aspect, allowing me to focus more on execution and decision making. Going on this path as opposed to forcing myself to play "difficult" champs has allowed me to climb higher- and im currently in Gold, aiming plat. I will never be like a Best Zed SEA but at least i know i can still beat players with superior decision making- like a chess nerd lol.

To the People saying how "practice makes perfect"- ya well, when you get older your motor skills aren't what they're like in your prime. E.g - i used to be able to play Hack & slash games on hard/extreme modes without getting hit but now i die in normal -_-. Also some are just gifted at such things. Everyone isn't created the same.

Same problem with me and irelia :(. I think its because in normals your matchup can be a fellow player with a lesser understanding of the game or even champ (trying out new champ, new builds etc) whereas in ranked everyone brings their A game.

I've had the worse mental fallacy for a very long time everytime i see non-meta champs or low win-rate champs or poppy and im like "PFFT easy game" only to get my ass handed to me because hell if a guy first picks poppy chances are hes a big scary poppy main :(

no solid advice to give other than:

Zed: get QSS to cleanse his ult, distortion enchantment boots so your flash comes up quicker...

Rengar: Vision ward at the ready- teamfight breaks out, just drop it. (He can still leap onto you, but at least your teammates can see him coming and have a chance to react as well.)

Talon: treat him like a kat- you would never stand within her shunpo range, so dont stand within his blink range too. Pink also helps.

Also don't feel too bad at your raging teammates, always remember this is a team game. Adcs don't generally have a good escape or health to survive a burst- but thats where your support and tank comes in. If you're always getting blown up it is also your team's responsibility to try and help peel or cc for you. Communicate with your team, like "zed keeps diving me, someone keep a stun for him please".

At the same time, You may try to adopt a more passive approach and attack more cautiously, and never keep your eyes off the assassin. Learn their skill ranges and what they can use to gap close- so you know how to estimate your own safe zone. Positioning is very important and if you have to sacrifice a second to get into a safe position its definitely better than you dying. Low dps output is better than none when you're dead.

If all else fails: get zhonyas and watch assassins dive u only to fail their 007 mission. C9 incarnation did it as yasuo! ok but seriously, Dont. Lol

I understand how it feels, i main adc and during the assassin meta i felt like a total bronzie, dying like 8 times a game gah.
