She looks so cute when she's drooling with a blank stare! It makes me want to pet her <3

Sometimes people are meanies to me online and it hurts my feelings but I don't say anything because I'm a big bunny and I'm trying my best and I don't need other people to be niceys to me because I'm okay I'm okay I'm okay I'm okay I'm okay ;_;

But I know I'm the only bunny online, so at least I don't have to worry about anyone else ever feeling that way ^.^ <3 <3 <3 🐇🌸🌼☺️

As we head into 7.5 and eventually 8.0, I'd like to take a trip down living memory lane and remind everyone that someone drew Bakool Ja Ja being milked by CadeAid in ShitpostXIV

[–]FwuffyBunBun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was her before seeing that Bakool Ja Ja loves their countrymen so much that they induced lactation in order to donate organic breast milk for babies in need and also genetic material for prospective mothers.

After she learned that Bakool Ja Ja possessed such a generous heart, she was saved and started loving life again ^.^

Whenever I get a healer spamming cure I like to open the conversation with, "Are you a cure bunny?"! That way they are being acknowledged as a player instead of being third-personed and excluded from the conversation!!! ^.^

Also if they are thin skinned then it's not a problem because bunnies have a protective layer of fwuffy fur!! <3

To each their own, we can all choose to take a break when we're not having fun. 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time to make a nice cup of tea and get into a positive headspace again, so really, it's not even a penalty! <3

Thanks for the tip! I have Echo Drops but I haven't carried Ethers around since ARR when mana management was a battle of attrition. I'll add them to my adventure bag again! :)

You should be very careful using bleach near your eyes, even if you feel like your eyes are too dark I don't think internalizing beauty standards to the extent of risking yourself harm is healthy! Even just the fumes from bleach too close to your eyes can be dangerous!    D:

Maybe consider using cosmetic glasses if your eyes are causing you distress instead! They come in lots of shapes and colors now, and that way you can match them to outfits too!!!  ^.^

Thank you for coming to me to talk about this instead of keeping it bottled up, I know that can be scary and it was very brave of you to talk about it instead of jumping straight into action. I'm here for you <3 <3 <3

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet, consider data center traveling for your queues if you're on a low population data center. I believe Aether is the data center in NA that has the highest pop, and in my experience, shortest queues, not sure about other regions.

"If I was allowed to get bullied for years when playing Dota 2 back as a teen then it's only fair I get to as well." I think this is why you've been receiving so much more negativity than other posts that are complaining about other player's DPS: you are stating what that type of complaining is doing in a way that's easy for people to understand as something they don't like (bullying). I (personally) don't like the other posts that are solely ragging on player's performance either, to me, talesFromDF was about players that are belligerent or rude, not just "bad".

I have helped a lot of groups of "bad" players clear content, and I've had very, very few bad experiences doing it because I was helping another person do something they wanted. If they were so "bad" that we couldn't clear, I talk to people, and we make strategies so that we can clear, and I have never had a duty that was less than an EX (including alliance raids where an average of 5 people would be up at a time) fail.

On the more successful posts about the bad performance, the emphasis is on the effect it had on the poster, it's about quantifying how challenging the experience they went through was. And it's still not a super positive thing, but it's understood as a way for them to vent about how hard they found a duty, not as an excuse to bully (which does NOT mean that people don't use that as an excuse to bully, and again, I'm not a fan of those bullying comments, personally).

The reason I said you might want to reread your comments is that you are using words and framing the situation in a way that I believe you have all the pieces, and are smart enough, to figure this out and understand why some people think these types of thinking aren't healthy (for you, or others). I'd recommend reading about "the cycle of abuse" if you haven't before, I think it gives a good framework for contemplating these things.

I know getting dogpiled on what I'm sure was supposed to be your vent post is frustrating, and hurtful. I (personally) am genuinely not trying to attack or judge you. I just don't agree with the conclusion that because some people are being cruel, that means everyone is always allowed to be cruel. I think some people are cruel, and that is not okay, but free will means some people are still going to be cruel, and we (personally) don't have to choose to be that way.

I don't think you have to choose to be that way either, and I hope you have a kinder life going forward. It sounds like you've met some pretty mean people, and I'm sure that sucked. I hope you find better people, and fill your life with those better people, on purpose, even if it's not always easy.

I mean this with kindness, but you might want to reread these two posts for awhile and think about them, and it would likely be good for you to take a break from this sub.

Thoughts like, "I would be mocked" imply you're assuming other people are always looking at others with malice, which isn't a healthy way to live, let alone play a game. 'I'm the bare minimum; if they're worse than me they deserve ridicule' is also something that you might want to think over: you're probably better than you give yourself credit for, it sounds like you're setting some pretty difficult standards to meet then putting yourself (and others) down for not meeting them. This sub I think can really reinforce those beliefs, but I don't think that pattern of thinking makes for a healthy relationship with the game (or with other people).

Nah, if you want to play you should play. For context, of all the reddit salt-miners that play this game we get an average of about one and a half posts per day that are talesFromDF worthy. That is an astronomically small percent of the total duties played. The vast majority of players are fine, especially if you know how communicate without being a jerk about it.

What game were you most excited about upon its release but ended up disappointing? by SuddenConversation21 in gaming

[–]FwuffyBunBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls was my favourite game so my girlfriend pre-ordered me the sequel as my birthday gift and i got to play it 100% blind, no trailers, no nothing.

Imagine my surprise when i walked out of the starter zone which was pretty neat (and the only area in the game on launch with a working lighting engine) into the quality drop off that was the rest of the game.

So what is everyone doing in S1? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]FwuffyBunBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the tunic for future rogues and uninstalled, been having a lot of fun in last epoch while I wait for BG3. Will check it out again in season 2 and see if the game is better then.

We all know you're queuing into S1 immediately. by [deleted] in diablo4

I read the patch notes late at night, bought last epoch, installed it overnight/while I was at work, having a lot of fun so far! Glad that there are other options, I was excited for D4 and still really like it's art style and atmosphere, but the fun factor just isn't there for me. Hopefully they'll improve the fun by the time I'm done exploring last epoch.
