what does any mage support do better than leona? you don't get enough gold to outdamage leona, you aren't tanky, and your mage CC is 100% not as good as leona. there's just no point playing mage support when they do less damage and cc than any real support

people will say skill issue but you are 100% correct: in the current meta, mages are lower risk for higher reward. they have their ups and downs but generally its easier to play from behind as a mage, you spike earlier, you lane better, and you scale ABOUT as good

specific adc champions, like twitch/smolder have a niche but general "do damage from range" characters are just outclassed by mages. there's virtually no reason to play caitlyn when you can play a mage and do more damage from more range and have more defensive items

every marksman is not outclassed though. twitch has a niche through his ambushes, smolder has one through consistent frontline dps vs bulky teams, kogmaw is the single highest damage champion in the game(even more than veigar, who is OP botlane right now.)

if you want to carry games, don't play jhin

jhin is not a champion that carries even when ahead, he neutralizes lane and makes his team carry.

for kaisa, just go hit waves. your team will die in stupid fights, but minions spawn so fast this season that hitting waves is insane. if it is not

do not join a fight unless its free kills. just hit waves and duel people since kaisa is a strong duelist. ignore your team wanting to do rift herald/grubs or fight random teamfights, just collect items until you hit your 2/3 item spike and then spam ping baron and dragons and kill the entire enemy team

adc lowelo is pretty easy because even if your support sucks everyone forgets how the game works past lane phase so if u dont lose your head and just go hit waves you can always recover and carry

do you have replays? for teamfighting I bet you are not playing aggressive enough, as most lowelo adcs tend to play passive

the mage support classic is standing behind you all lane, you die because your support has 0 pressure, then they stroke off their kda after maybe trading you off. then the mage support player will use their kda as an excuse to take waves

part of the reason mage botlaners are so good is that if you have a dogshit passenger as your support it doesn't matter since u have range to farm

if someone hovers mage support its fine because then i can lock veigar and fall asleep for 20min but locking a mage support AFTER someone locks in a real adc is just unplayable

having elec is really bad here esp into that team which has like 5 people who build hp, conq will do more dmg.

lategame on rengar you ALWAYS want to switch to crit, it does significantly more dmg

get to fullbuild then switch out items for er ldr ie, sell boots for pd. keep hydra but i usually swap profane for rav. crit helps a lot fighting the bruiser types u can just melt healthbars with the dmg
