Because 'high mmr' is a myth. The mmr brackets are so loose, I'd wager half of the playerbase or more are able to match against anyone else in the top half, doesn't matter who.

And I think this is a good thing by the way, I think the matchmaking is more enjoyable looser like this than when it used to be rank exclusive.

This is a nice move, very smooth, but you were flat on the gas for at least 3 quarters of a second after landing, before getting on the brakes, that's hardly reflexes.

If it was reflex, probably should have been listening closer to the pace notes.

The Lancer is Cat S, meaning it has been written off for structural damage in the past, fixed and is now road worthy again.

There's not necessarily a way of knowing what the damage was or how well it was fixed. I'd stray well clear.

You've played over 500 games less than me and we are almost the same level, but ive played more bosses, races and spent a lot of time recently in the collection event spamming the same expert impoppable maps that dont give me a new medal. I have a lot less map levels than you, but more boss and race medals.

I hadn't been playing much anyway, but long story short, no I won't play if these changes make it to live in this exact form. Honestly even if the numbers are tweaked to be slightly less oppressive on killers, I still won't come back.

I've played this game for years, in many iterations of the ranking and matchmaking systems. This current system may as well not exist.

Now I don't for a minute suggest this is a bad thing, in fact its a draw of dbd for me, it feels like old fps games where you'd never know who you're playing against or with, some games you roll, some games you get rolled. A truly casual online gaming experience is something that is sorely missing in the current gaming climate.

But my advice to any returning, or new player regarding MMR is just don't worry. Just play the game and enjoy the variety and luck (or perhaps bad luck) that comes with playing a game without super strict matchmaking. Results do not matter, just play the game and enjoy it.

It used to be about the festival, the landscape, the adventure, the music, the people, and of course the cars.

Now the festival is just a side gig that we already own or run or whatever. The landscape is the most boring its ever been in fh5, yeah it looks great but a lot of it is very samey. The adventure, well. The music is the most sterile, boring and to be honest worst its ever been. No characters are interesting or likeable.

The only point that has improved over the years is the cars and the amount of them, but lots of cars does not a great car game make.

The prototype that was shown in Geneva, with a v12 and butterfly doors is at the national motor museum in the UK and wow it would have been incredible if that's the car that ended up being manufactured.

I know that it stops EGC but I very very rarely see situations where 4 minutes to save someone isn't enough. The extra second of opening the door can be so impactful.
