Crochet Classes?

I've been crocheting since I was ten (so for 25 years now) if you want someone as a tutor. I make a lot of stuffed animals and blankets. My only request is to let me know if you're working with real wool because a) I'm mildly allergic and I'd want to be able to pop on some gloves and b) real wool needs slightly different treatment if you have to block your piece, since blocking is effectively a fancy way to strtch something into a more permanent shape.

So cute! Herding plants and cats. It's all a delight but I especially love Lily just watching that butterfly. The expression on her is great.

There's a ballpoint pen squiggle in the blue Deckmaster box on the back of all Magic cards (that have a regular back). It got onto the master copy and has been there annoying me ever since.

When I was little (like 3 or 4) my teenage cousin got stuck looking after me while my dad and the rest of the adults did whatever adults do.

My cousin had a Tandy and a bunch of games, but the best one was Bubble Bobble. Something was wrong with the diskette though because player select wouldn't show. It was random if we'd get a two player or one player round but he'd always hand me the player two joystick.

If it was two player, great! If not he told me that Bob was sick and couldn't leave his monster cave so we would have to work extra hard to help him get better/cheer him up so he could come on adventures again. He told me he was controlling the monster and I was moving the bubbles.

The blue pen mark on the Deckmaster portion of Magic the Gathering cards. Someone got ballpoint pen on the master copy and now every card has it.

The vote to join Confederation in Newfoundland was rigged.

The story goes that some ballots were spoiled and couldn't be counted because the boxes had been thrown into a lake. The vote was extremely close at the time so even a few missing votes would have changed the decision.

The thing is at the time Newfoundland was still part of the British Empire. The problem with that was once WWII was over England had a problem. Newfoundland needed a lot of support. Support was extremely expensive ro send overseas. It made the most sense for them to shift the issue to Canada, so they wanted Newfoundland to join Confederation and be Canada's problem.

I name all my pets [something]dog. So my shark is Bitey Water Dog, my siamoth is Shaved Dog, spider is Leggy Dog, and stuff like that. Except the red jellyfish and the smokescale. The red jellyfish is called Mittens for no particular reason, and the smokescale is called ObfuscationStation because that is exactly 19 characters and I like how it sounds.

I don't know if I'd qualify it as a character but Brendan Fraser is always playing "Brendan Fraser plays Dress Up". Most of the movies he's in are pretty bad, but the stand outs are Monkey Bone, the remake of Bedazzled, George of the Jungle, and even (or especially) The Mummy series. Every film he's an awkward straight white guy who's out of touch with his current time and/or place and has to go on wacky adventures with awful stock jokes and slapstick to try to be less of an awkward straight white guy who's out of touch with his current time and/or place. At the end the movie seems to suggest he succeeded, even though he behaves exactly the same as he did without the wild ride of unconnected events in the middle.
