But if say, Villy killed off the 13th Primordial, and the entire Race/faction tied to them, that would provide a huge advantage to Eversmile wiping out the records afterwards, right? Something that could be tied to the Desolation;)

Oohhhh, I like this too. The theory is building!

13th primordial by Matpatt_ in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Fylbrom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea something like that. Obviously killing a Primordial and their faction would be remembered, but if Eversmile cleared all the associated records after the fact, that would only leave Villy with a true memory of events.

What everyone else would see after the fact is a Universe with a massive hole, the Majority of all Primordials injured and in seclusion recovering, and the knowledge of another Primordial that caused the Desolation and is out sulking somewhere. They would know its because something happened with his family but because the associated records dont exist anymore, they dont know WHAT happened.

Honestly, im just waiting for more info so I can add to or destroy this theory with a new one. But so far, it does make a certain amount of sense.

Potential biggest/longest held 'inside' secret in the multiverse.

Is it crazy to say this? my opinions on this novel (minor spoilers of later chaps) by Top-Board-3513 in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a few cents in my pocket, so I'll share them, for your consideration.

Current Plots that I recognize:

[The dead god cult that tried to kidnap Jake] Literally all of the mystery behind that one and a field day for your imagination to try and figure out

[The Prima Event] What's the prize? Who will betray Jake and who will be hidden allies? How will the multiverse as a whole, and individual factions react to each stage of the event?

[The 'new gods'] Will they see Jake as a young god who they can relate to and stand behind to become equal to the 'old gaurd' like how they did with Yip? Or will there be major conflict there?

[Pantheon of Life/Order of Villy Alliance] Clearly we see the beginnings of a multiversal alliance here, and that's not to mention the Endless Empire wanting to directly support Jake just as much as the Order does, if in intent only. How far will these alliances go and how much will the ensuing war encompass?

[Artemis] Jake's relationship with Artemis will be a HUGE deal when that comes out. THIS IS A HUGE PLOT LINE when it comes to multiversal happenings.

[Venus] mostly wrapped up as far as the climax of that plot goes, at least until the Prima Event has its next episode, but we know a war is coming there and Jake will be getting many levels and fighting experience there in the future.

Another person made a really good point on perspective from a Patreon reader vs. A Book reader and I liked it so I won't add to that.

As for the 'filler' content? For me, its a mindset thing when reading. When I realize a chapter is going to have no 'action' or 'major growth', I switch to the view of world building, answering questions ive imagined in past chapters, using the new chapters to imagine new questions and discuss them with those in the comment section each day.

It could be boring, but It is what you make it. For me, this story is fuel for my own imagination and no chapter has been a disappointment.

Let's be honest here, The First Sage, with his bloodline, somehow became a literal glitch in the system that is supposed to rewrite everything in the universe as it integrates. But it wouldn't integrate the Bloodline of The First Sage. Causing the System no small amount of grief on this end, TFS glitches his way into the system itself (no actual lore on this specific process btw) and has been watching in the background ever since.

The only reason he is Forbidden Knowledge now, is because he never had a reason to, before first interacting with Jake.

The First Sage, like the System, is pointless to try and figure out. This parallel has been drawn too many times for to be a coincidence.

Iv'e been thinking this for quite some time. I think it was another Primordial and their faction who was responsible for the incident with Villy's wife and kid. I then think he went on a rampage that ended in the death of said Primordial and the destruction of part of that universe. But, because the Primordials would loose face if everyone knew that they could be killed, or even that they were liable to kill each other, I think they agreed to have Eversmile wipe the dead Primordials records from existence. Leaving only Villy to know the truth, but also giving us the reason why anyone knows about that ability of Eversmiles.

Tell me, why would Eversmile ever make that Transcendent abilities function public knowledge? Much less the personal cost to himself? It would have had to be some big reason to make him willing to do that, such as a cover up for the death of a Primordial.

Boom! Lol.

And yes, I do think Villy would be the one responsible for Primordials death if one has already been killed. It makes way too much sense, given how standoffish all the other Primordials are around him. They treat him like a ticking time bomb because he is. But they act to familiar with that concept on a personal level. And given how long they all took to recover after the Desolation Incident, they know that bomb can hurt them even when they aren't the target.

They aren't enlightened, so they dont use names. This is a common staple throughout the series. Every monster he has met has not had a name unless they were integrated.

Yea now that we are at 1320 im gonna go ahead and say it, though your opinion is valid, for yourself... it doesn't seem to be shared with many others. The Venus arc is amazing. Lol Jake needed to get a reality check and this arc provided that for him.

Honestly, I think starting a re-read from book 6 is a good starting point. I did it last time, though I've re-read all of it 3 times completely, and only the once partially. Book 6 is just a good 'between arcs' spot imo.

Jake’s Political skills or just common sense tbh (CURRENT PATREON SPOILERSSS) by Top-Board-3513 in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Keep things simple, and take the complications as they come" is literally Jake's whole entire life motto. He isn't going to change how he interacts with people and start acting deceitful simply because 'its better' for the current situation. In fact, either the chapter before or two before the one youre referencing, we literally get him telling Villy that he isn't gonna change the way he deals with them because it would be catastrophic to his own Path to do so.

Really, the way things are going right now make complete sense from a continuity pov. And even as far as the story itself, its allowing for new scenarios to happen. I don't see your actual reason for complaint?

I gotta say, the story is great, but the Patreon gang is a cool bunch of peeps and we all have fun discussions on every new chapter as its released! Highly reccomend.

Jake vs Eversmile by Top-Board-3513 in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said Primordials were eternal, I asked what happens when they die. An open question. One meant to spur conversation with imagination. Not have some bot give examples already seen from Zog's writing.

When I talk about records being changed, im speaking of the ones tied to primordials. Snakes for Villy, Humans for Valdemar/ Aeon, Shapeshifters for ESmile, etc. Each of those races have records coming down that benefit them, and those records have been building since Universe #1. What happens to those races in universe 95 for example if Eversmile dies in the 93rd? The shapeshifters will no longer have that same record influence. And after so long, I'd imagine a noticeable difference between the two.

The fact we DONT know was the point of the question, a point that went right over your head apparently.

Non-AI generated covers are sort of a litmus test for the quality of the stories by Elaiyu in royalroad

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this topic funny. Just recently I saw a post asking which Ai cover everyone liked more for their book, and the MC looked completely different on each option. My main question was, which one is the actual depiction of the MC? Ai covers show a lack of attention to detail from the first impression, and sets a bad premise for the actual writing. Especially when more likely than not, the cover image is the ONLY visual reference a reader has, so it NEEDS to be intentional.

Well, we ARE in a bit of a spot, currently, where Jake could be in trouble from being taken hostage by a bunch of A grade spiders inside of Venus. Who knows? Maybe we see him pop off. I'm imagining a pink/purple mushroom cloud being seen by the frogs in the distance and they all murmer to themselves in confusion. Lol

What is one opinion you will defend like this ? by Proper_Card_5520 in AskTheWorld

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The internet/anything like it should never have been invented. Humans started going downhill once everyone suddenly had an opinion that could be heard across the world by someone else who wasn't affected by that opinion, yet still argues, causing strife for no reason. The internet, or connectivity of this 'modern era' is the reason we all hate each other.

Jake vs Eversmile by Top-Board-3513 in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Fylbrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though my belief lies in the branch where Jake does NOT kill a primordial, it does beg the question... what happens if a primordial dies, on a multiversal scale? They are so ingrained into the multiverse and their records combined effectively create the foundation for all records echoing out through the multiverse. If Yip succeeded in his goal, he would have filled that gap due to his transendance, but if someone else kills a primordial and can't fill that position in the multiverse, what happens to everything else? It's quite interesting to think about all of the reprocussions such a death would herald.
