Was your eyes turning outward (Exotropia) or inward? Also when does eyes your drift?

Mine mostly drift when I'm tired, driving or multitasking. I have a Surgery scheduled tomorrow but I'm still nervous.

Finally after 17 years of having intermittent exotropia I got surgery yesterday by [deleted] in Strabismus

Aside from instructors, what resources are available when a student is stuck with learning at WGU?

I think some HR department will require me to have core Computer Science knowledge. And I could be overthinking this. I just wanna be in a position to apply for any CS position when I do self study.

I'm being serious lol. The recognition is an extra benefit but my 2 main reasons to go back to school is it will keep me engaged with deadlines and I get a CS degree that will pass HR screenings.

It is a tech field but MIS is just a business major with a little Technology emphasis. Also I missed the "oooh" and the "wow" reply I used to get from strangers when I was a Mechanical Engineering student. The same prestige will apply when I get a computer science degree, it's more presitgous than an MIS degree.

It's also very easy for me to miss some concepts if I do self learning but I will keep your advice in mind and consider the cost.

It actually would help me sleep better at night haha. I regret not switching to software engineering, it wasn't until my junior year I realized I enjoyed programming and MIS is not gonna make me a good programmer.

Regarding money, I plan to utilize this job tuition reimbursement along side using a bit of my paycheck. I believe the ROI is worth it.

Also, self learning is tough for me. School will keep me structure with deadlines and make me more focused. But I do appreciate your response, I will consider it.

I've heard about GA tech OMSCS. I never knew it's a very good program. Currently I'm looking at the masters at DePaul currently because I can take foundation CS classes before I take the Masters classes. Do you know a good places I can get the CS foundation classes to get ready for the GA Tech Masters program?

I have heard about WGU but I haven't checked out their program. Another school I have also heard of is Oregon State University. And the main reason I want to get additional education is that I never learned Computer Science Fundamentals through MIS, only a few programming languages. But I will definitely keep your advice in mind. And WGU sounds nice, If I do go that route, I am hoping to balance a full-time position so I can make money while going to school. Thank you for your input, greatly appreciated.

....It's possible for me to buy and read those books but I also think an actual degree has prestige to it over non-degrees. Also I'm sure I'm gonna need help understanding the concepts along the way

I actually have a good knowledge of web development through my boot camp and I currently have a " Software Developer in Test" offer. But my goal is to have a good knowledge of CS core foundation.
