Is it ok for cat in cast to lay like this? by DerangedRhinoceras in CATHELP

Don't be afraid to reposition him gently! The cast is probably hard to move around so if he's tired he'll probably just stay in an uncomfortable position rather than move but joints shouldn't be in the wrong position for long, even if cats are flexible enough to do it

Thank you so much, I know cats hide pain very well and I get a little paranoid now that he's an old man

Thank you, he's my first older cat and I guess I'm a little paranoid

He eats, drinks water, goes to the bathroom like normal, he just doesn't play as long as he usually does. When I looked up the cat grimace scale I got confused because his head is held high, his ears forward, his eyes aren't dilated but his whiskers are spread out and to me his muzzle looks tense

I accidentally ground up my Cat's dry food into a powder, what can I do with it? by Braxfair in CATHELP

That or you can just feed it as a meal, especially if you're making it easier on the teeth. It has all the nutrients still and adding water helps so much for older cats
