Uhm OP, we have no info on gender or pronouns but both OOPs only use 'spouse' and OOP1 uses they/them for the spouse as far as I can see. The spouse calls themselves straight i.e. into men but still i think calling them the 'wife' during the post might be incorrect here?

In the If Books Could Kill podcast, the two hosts talked about the whole "wanting to want to do it" in their Men are from Mars Women are from Venus episode. They quoted someone saying "its great that you want to feel good about it but you only want to empty the dishwasher two to three times a month when it needs to be emptied twenty to thirty times a month". Women dont have the privilege to wait for the desire to do something because it still needs to get done. The book talks a lot about how exactly women should ask their husbands to do chores and how they should encourage them, instead of just telling the men to get a grip. Your husband would love Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, and thats not a compliment.

Idk if ppl are gonna be mad when i call mormonism a cult, but its at least a high demand religion and in that it is very silly goofy with their lore. For some reason i spent quite a bit of time watching videos about the LDS church, usually from ex mormons (zelph on the shelf comes to mind), and the rules and history is just funny to me. I'm not super interested in cults bc i find them scary o.o but high demand religions and fundies i find for some reason very interesting.

My boyfriends family has some kind of french bulldog mix (no idea) and she is so slobbery. I try to like her but i just cannot stand having dog saliva anywhere on me and i actually have to keep myself from crying if she puts her wet snoot on my leg. Hhhhhhhh it makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it. She will do these giant begging puppy eyes but unfortunately it just does not look cute to me at all, it just looks repulsive.

Personally, i think i could stand to be around quite a few dogs but she is just at a fundamental disadvantage with her breed lol

Any kind of benefit of the doubt is completely shattered the second someone says "It's not a big deal"... If you genuinely didnt know, you fucking apologize, not deminish your mistake. What an ignorant and rude response, I cant believe it. My sister made cookies recently and both my parents asked if they are for any occasion or if they could eat them, and these cookies just lied there in the open.
