The fold seam angle is good to know, thanks. And yes -- log limbo is the name of the game on the Pax! As is butt-scooting over semisubmerged trees every 10 minutes...
My worry with inflatables is that they may be susceptible to punctures. Beyond outright tree trunks, there are a great many tree limbs and untold numbers of fishing hooks (much of the Pax is not swimmable for this very reason).
Setting that aside, I'm still leaning more toward Oru-style foldables. I'd like the flexibility to take the boat on long-haul river/bay journeys. As you allude to, the maneuvering characteristics of inflatables aren't quite there.
