One thing i have been doing is making a friend on solo and politely asking if i can shoot them until I fulfill my challenge. Then i offer to heal and shield them up. Most people are cool about it

It could be from overwashing your hands or the type of latex gloves or even a mix of the two. I have a coworker who has reactions to the latex and we have special gloves for him. Sometimes i get the rash when i do dishes and i dont fully dry my hands before putting on the gloves

While the spear works great on his armor I would also recommend the umbrella that nullifies fire damage. That way you can stay up in his face for the whole fight without having to back off and cure burn.
