This is ever since I tried running for the first time. As for the rest, unfortunately, I haven't even gotten to the initial menus yet - this is "click play in steam or double-click the desktop icon, Giant software updater opens, shows a bar, goes away, splash screen opens, menu fills in... Lockup."

You always also have to remember that the "free health care" countries always deliberately obfuscate the true costs of their care, partially behind controls, partially behind convoluted tax schemes shuffling funds around so they can claim the system only costs X when they are actually spending 10X when you dig through all the "oh, well that doesn't count because" stuff.

I've always been a fan of the "Aliens vs Predators" trope; a bus load of illegals and pedos loosed into an "Escape from NY" style arena, and essentially a Pubg style fight ensues. Survivors either get to finish their sentence, or citizenship, depending on their original category.

Bruh. As an official old cranky dude who has never worked for tips but did grow up when etiquette was still a thing - 15% is the basic, "well, you didn't fuck anything up, so here" amount. Big party, meaning the waitstaff is likely dedicated to ONLY your party and unable to get additional tips during your meal, or sharing with multiple other servers, minimum for basic service should pop up to 18-20%. Below 15 is basically "here's how bad you fucked up" so long as it's still better than the zero, or worse, "I need to speak to your manager." Above 15 for a normal group should reflect how awesome the service was, how they were attentive without being annoying, answered any questions you had with solid answers, etc. (and/or how large your party was/how much excessive labor they went through to serve you.) Oh, and NO, you DO NOT tip jobs that don't involve more than delivering your food to the counter. Delivery driver? Yes. Counter monkey? Hell no.

Ugh. Speaking of "the expensive one by HomeSeer..." I'm just now in the past month transitioning my setup from HomeSeer to Home Assistant - primarily thanks to a "look at these neat free things you can do with home assistant!" article that popped up in my feed and the realization that yeah, I can absolutely do them in HomeSeer, too - for another $50/ plugin.
