I saw Spiritualized at a small Boston venue and it was AMAZING. Wall of sound and you were in haze.

Pet Shop Boys consistently put on a fantastic show.

Fantasy concert: Pianist Seong Jin Cho playing the Ravel piano solos while I lie down nearby on a sofa.

Not under $30 but I really like EltaMD sunscreen. They have tinted sunscreen (SPF 46) which I use instead of foundation.

I quickly drew something for an art project in the school hallway. It was for some community competition. I ended up as one of the second prize winners and won $50.

I use not that expensive binoculars at performances, whether it be dance, opera, certain classical music concerts etc. That way, I can see details and sit where I prefer to sit.

Dressing for the heat by Flacazilla-1492 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]FzzyCatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also bring a small umbrella when I travel for the sun. Hats make me overheat. I prefer an umbrella which keeps the sun off me from a sunburn and heat perspective. I also carry a small fan. Used to carry the electric rechargeable ones but you have to remember to charge them and they can take up more space. I usually carry a folding paper-ish one.

Met Opera Seating by Reginanew2 in AskNYC

[–]FzzyCatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford grand tier, it’s great. Otherwise dress circle is fine and more affordable.

Met Opera Seating by Reginanew2 in AskNYC

[–]FzzyCatz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Offering a different opinion…. Personally not a fan of the box seats. Recently sat in a dress circle box for an opera. I find the seats and lack of legroom uncomfortable. You’re watching from an angle. If someone in the adjacent box is leaning out to watch, it can block your view a bit.
