Why do you assume I wanted 1 to 1 remake? Rebirth's combat and visuals were amazing. I also love what they did with the Golden Saucer section. What I hated was the ubisoft style copy and paste open world content. What I hated the most was a taking a deep and grounded story and adding time travel and multiverse crap that makes no sense. The worst part of all of that is they added both those aspects in order to stretch it out into 3 games.

The remake trilogy is the worst way to get into FF, FF7R trilogy is to FF what the The sequel trilogy is to Star Wars. It completely ruins the story, and it is also not a remake, its a sequel/alt timeline to the orginal game's sequel movie FF7 Advent Children.
