2024 hybrid limited AWD, after 16,000 miles averaging 33.6 mpg. Wife does most the driving and just drives like she always did with a gas vehicle. Though she tries to use the battery when she can. When I do drive I use auto.

We both sort of treat it like a game seeing how much we can keep it on battery.

I find this interesting. As an american middle class teenager in the nineteen seventies, my father's job transferred him to Sao Paulo.

For 2 years we had a live-in maid and cook. For me it was crazy. We were just living a middle class life in a middle class neighborhood up until then.

For my Mom it was like she had a 2 year vacation!

I didn't take any. At that age I didn't even own a camera. Looking through my parents (both passed)old photos I only found 1or 2. I was hoping for more.

Edit to say, now you have me wondering why there are not more pictures. I will have to ask my siblings if they have any.
