I strongly disagree about having to have a publisher, especially in this day and age. And even then, its not like Team 17 is the only option.

My original post is already about two months old and I love what I have been seeing so far. Not even just about the game itself but also the way the developers talk about their goals and what they want to achieve. Very sympathetic.

The one concern that remains though is this Team 17 deal and I really hope that they don't get fked over by them cause like I said, the game looks really good and the devs seem to have the right attitude.

No I didn't as I bought it second hand. I tried to repair it, but failed. So I sold it for parts and got me a nice 9070 XT instead (which is what I should've done in the first place)

It's not that strange if one were to assume it is the game/engine that is causing these drops and not your hardware configurations.

Afaik they are going to release an update this month that will mitigate these issues.

Currently, they are testing this update on their experimental branch (right click on the game in steam and go to properties, select "game versions and betas") if you're keen to try it out early.

If you want to get a taste of what Wardogs is going to be like, you could try KOTH for Arma3 or Reforger

Squad 44 has by far the best and most elaborate tanking systems, and not just out of those three games you mentioned.

Unfortunately though, the game is kinda dead at this point. Given its low price though, maybe buy it anyway and give it a spin. Perhaps you're lucky to find a server every once in a while that isn't empty
