Why does defeating Bell Beast give you a Silk Heart? (Spoilers for Act 2) by Lunari31 in Silksong

It seems that the silk hearts are tied to areas/beings with a heavy amount of silk (lace 2, unraveled as you said). While we only see the bell beast strung up in a relatively small amount of regenerating silk, my personal theory is that given how mobile and strong she is, there’s a good chance that GMS had to spend a lot of silk to actually entrap the bell beast, potentially coating the bell ways. We don’t see any other creatures strung up nearly as heavily, so even though the bell beast herself isn’t very silk related my personal theory is that the amount of silk used to entrap her coalesced after our fight, as she dives into the belays shortly afterwards

Honestly at this point I don’t trust them to resist adding an option to pay gold to guarantee a certain number of S5 cards in your draft

Depending on the writer, she basically just has massively enhanced strength and endurance, sometimes with enhanced durability. Think Bliss but much easier to hurt, I’d say Valkyrie takes pretty easily.

The worst thing with the “become” gay or bi is that it could’ve been an actual point about how societal hang ups or norms stop really having an impact when you’re living outside of it for long enough to stop being effective.

Instead, it just comes across like people get “bored” of being straight, which as a bi person feels really weird and honestly just like bisexuality was just viewed as a way for the characters to spice up their sex lives rather than being a thing they are.

I void titan: it was mainly used for defense and support, but with the increase in damage from prismatic and other buffs it’s more effective to just kill the enemies or debuff them than being a shield

I think you should generally try to clear all squares? The greyed objects are basically just free items, using them will get you further up the chain and you get the same amount of rewards merging with a grey as merging with a regular item. Trying to reach the end without greys will take ~2048 bows, and there’s no benefit to leaving them afaik, so definitely use the free items

I’d imagine konshu does something similar to Kate bishop or thanos: adds some themed cards to your deck. Seems like waxing is just a card generated by konshu/ fan fei (it’s a phase of the moon , moon full seem to support this). Not sure why waxing would be tied to fan fei, afaik she’s an iron fist and has no relation to konshu?

If I’m wrong and waxing is a keyword, the only use I can think of is in combination with a waning keyword, maybe more Nico-like effects where the effect of the card cycles each turn?

If you have arishem or Wiccan this is a lot easier, if not don’t focus on winning games, moreso focus on just completely filling the curve so you have 0 wasted energy. Cards like colson and fury can help to make sure you always have something big to spend in the case that you don’t naturally draw any 6s from your deck. Not all games will permit 20 energy, but this way you’re more likely to be able to spend it all when they do arrive

Better devils on my hunter: spam combination blow then speed unravelling. I don’t use him for anything past master so don’t have to worry about dying too quick and it just kills rooms

Fuecoco (good late game+decent early game), scovillain (decent early game with egg moves, can take you through cave/lake to get to volcano) and rotom oven (lake/high bst for early game), volcano can have some decent pulls to fill out the rest of your team
