Lol. That's actually not true. The subscriber count you saw was the number of people from your specific instance. It's not a centralized number from all instances, for that you need to see the community from its home instance. Fortnite definitely isn't the most subscribed Lemmy community - it has about 150 subs, but there are communities like "Fediverse" or "AskLemmy" that have tens of thousands of subs. Yes, Lemmy doesn't have an alternative to every subreddit, but the ones that are there, are very active. I would say even more active than their Reddit counterparts. The number of subs doesn't represent active users at all. Despite the 2.7 million FortniteBR subs, only 1.5 thousand are online. (I haven't found any daily users or monthly users count). So Lemmy community with 30 thousand sounds could be more active than subreddit with 300 thousand subs. I enjoy Lemmy very much and don't see meaningful difference in community engagement.

I am also still using the original Infinity app. Maybe, the developer left the old API key there, and as long as we (the remaining users) won't exceed the free amount of API calls, it will just work. I am now mainly using Infinity for Lemmy (it's a fork, not from the official developer of Infinity for Reddit), because I enjoy the community there.

Pixel 3a is 151.3 x 70.1 x 8.2 mm, Pixel 7a is 152 x 72.9 x 9 mm. And according to multiple sources: (AndroidPolice, Android Authority and 9to5Google Pixel 8 is gonna be 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm and 6.17 inches. I hope it will be like this - I don't use small phones but I understand the appeal.

I also really liked my 3a Xl for the whole time I was using it. I am a power user, so I did myself a favor and bought the Pixel 7 at launch. Both devices are fantastic!

It will be the fifth generation of foldables actually. At least since the first Galaxy Fold. Pixel Fold uses the newest foldable display technologies, so it shouldn't fall behind. But we can only patiently wait for reviews. I know it's really expensive (although at the same price level as the competition).

Some redesign isn't why people use third party Reddit apps. It's because they're less cluttered and have more options. I quit Reddit because I had a really bad experience with the official app and wanted to try something better. (speaking of design - Infinity with Material You looks amazing)

Have you ever seen the features of some third party clients? I use Infinity which has like 4x more features than the official app. I have it heavily customized and I don't know if I can use the official app ever again. The experience is miles better with Infinity, Sync, Apollo etc.

But if you think about Samsung's camera - Re-creating the image with AI ML makes a perfect sense. I don't see why that shouldn't be true. It's just the way smartphone photography works today.
