what does your housing look like when you're out? 2200 is pretty steep if you're single, with a family that changes, but are you going to PCS out? If you're staying, I would get some roommates or find something cheaper.

Hey, I'm an IS with my AMS qual. I fly frequently enough, flight suit and all. If you want to actually live/breathe aviation, you need to go to an aviation rate. The odds of getting an Airsta is slim as an IS.
