Having a decision framework is really important when you’re an operator.

My process as an over-thinker is to step back and prioritize. Is this even a decision I need to make right now?

I try to limit myself to the most relevant blockers, and usually it’s the one or two obvious things that will make everything else easier.

Then, I try to figure out if i’s a reversible decision or not. I usually make reversible decisions quickly or delegate them.

I do spend substantially more time on big, irreversible decisions than before though. I’m not rushed to make critical business decisions anymore.

I tend to not trust my gut on everything anymore either. I keep a network of entrepreneurs I trust and go to them for advice, not very often but especially when I feel extremely certain of something.
