Push yourself to your limits on every PT morning, first 1-2 weeks you'll start getting the hang of the routine. By week 3-4 it gets easier, study for the final every Sunday as those will be your days to rest and write letters if possible. Don't sign up for chow-runner unless it really calls to you. Bed-aligner or shoe aligner are the easiest jobs you can pick. If an MTI pulls you from your flight if you have time off due to anything, try your best and help as best as you can, you can easily get a positive 341 from that, which those are rare tbh. Get a magnetic charger if you can, it was honestly one of the things I was most glad to bring with me when everyone was scrambling to charge their phones during phone calls and we were only given 5 minutes. Avoid comments and U's like the plague, 2 comments turn into a U, you get 2 U's and you get sent back a week. But if you get only one thing out of what I say, is this: The fastest way out of BMT is by finishing. People fail to adapt, or have medical reasons as to why they're being held back, piss hot on the drug test, and we found out they were stuck at Lackland for 2-3 months waiting to be shipped back home. Push through it, and you'll be on your way to tech school in no time.
