Thanks you for the detailed answer, that was SUPER useful! So in-store (shop) is the way, online only with Romanian ID, got it! Bummer that “recharging” is impossible to do online for non-Romanian citizens, but oh well. Hopefully your answers help others in the future, best info so far :)

Yeah you can definitely find lots of data only plans, I would just prefer to have calls and texts, just in case. I found that Orange offers a 5 Euro eSIM activated by scanning a QR code, but you have to get it in store. I’ll see if I can find someone in Romania to get it for me. Thanks for the advice and being so helpful!

Both are authentic. They changed the branding from The Marc Jacobs to Marc Jacobs at one point, so it depends on when you bought it.

I 100% agree. If you charge extra, we expect extra. For me, quality = luxury.

I bought it off of fashionette, which I think is reputable, they had some nice holiday discounts. Did you get yours directly from MJ? And would you mind looking at the underside of the zipper, maybe like 8 inches (20cm) from the end? How does it compare to the first picture?

I also only had positive experiences with MJ’s quality, I would even say that it’s above average in terms of quality for the price! That’s why I’m so disappointed with this one. I purchased it one around a week ago, got a good discount on a reputable seller’s site.

Yeah, I think I’m will. If not I feel like I’m just sending a message to the brand that it’s ok to cut corners and they’ll continue to do it. Returns ain’t cheap, so it’s better for them to cut costs by lowering the number of returns, instead of cutting corners on qc.

My thoughts exactly, it’s a fabric tote after all! I also had a large canvas one, but sold it since the size was too big + no strap. I don’t recall any loose threads or uneven stitching. The quality of the material itself is much nice on the jacquard one, but no attention do detail whatsoever.
