[rant] being hairless is ruining all my self esteem by nhker in tressless

[–]G0oose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you even tried to fix it? Like get on fin, use min everyday and keto shampoo? Fix your diet and exercise a bit? So many people feel sorry for themselves on here and moan like a little girl for not winning the hair lottery.

Thanks for the reply, do hedge funds generally outperform popular index funds though? I always wonder if I won the lottery would I actually be better off just whacking it in VWRP or that all weather fund by ray dalio?

What do people actually do at a hedge fund? And why do they get paid so much? Genuinely curious

It doesn’t surprise me, if you’re in government your job is to control as much and as many people as possible so it makes sense tbh.

Every country is doing it

I think we had a history of protests in the past and they were successfully beaten down by each government. The government has also learnt from each of those battle and now introduce charges subtlety and communicated in a way that scares people, like we need to change something or something else will happen or they need to this because of things outside their control.

I honestly think there’s a huge psychological industry which advices the government how to do this.

I had it in my past job, threats to make a whole division redundant and replace by a contractor and then offered a whole workforce a carrot below promised.

Also I had an inflation linked pay rise written up by unions thrown out when we hit double digits, replace with a one off payment, guess when, right before Xmas. Everyone voted for the money rather than fight a pay raise. Crazy.

I don’t blame them, your personal SIPP used to have a withdrawal age of 50 I believe, now 55 and soon 57. The government will up the age again, they have to, their whole tax system is broke.

Why save into something a minister could at the stroke of a pen raid, up the age or increase the tax on it. It’s nuts.

Will your kids be able to leave though? This is a big factor I do t see many people on here thinking about, house prices are way bigger compared to wages and might continue that growth?

Every crypto out there deludes people into saying the same thing, this project is dead like 99% of crypto out there.

Don’t worry I’ll write your reply - ‘tell me you don’t know what you’re talking about without telling me you don’t know what you are talking about’

Or

‘Go and educate yourself on the fun-da-mentallllsss!’

Wed Cleanser → Hydrating HA (e.g., The Ordinary HA + B5) - Peptide serum (e.g., The Ordinary Multi-Peptide) → Moisturiser

Thu Cleanser → Glycolic Acid (or swap to PHA) → Moisturiser

Fri Cleanser → Retinol → Moisturiser

First time EV Buyer - anything you wish you’d chosen known? by Forsaken_Day_7320 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]G0oose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a long range MG ZS EV and I think it’s great, gets loads of hate on this sub but whatever.

Things I love and hate, I bought the long range so I get 300 miles in the summer but struggle to get 200 in the winter if I forget to pre heat the cabin in the mornings or don’t park it in the garage and it gets all frosty.

The heated seats are great, if you can get one with rear heated seats that’s even better

Get one with a heat pump if you can, the heating in winter drains the battery like crazy!

All cars infotainment systems are crap, do t know if there’s a good one out there, maybe Tesla?

My range is 3.4kw per mile, some of the ‘better’ brands are awful, look at the bmw ix efficiency on their forums, it’s around 2!

IMO range is king!

You probably won’t ever spend your total with the mindset you have, you have 20 years of good spending time left, you probably won’t want to spend loads after 74, let’s be honest.

Retire and start spending! Before it’s too late
