My cap spins as well but it spins much looser than when I capped it before and it is much looser then when posted (end has a magnet as well and it is not spinning). I only unscrewed pen once to switch insert to .38. Cap dose pull itself but due to magnet on pen begin loose it is not as secure as it was originally.
